Can I join in the fun? I have peaches, and I nicked an orange from my wife's town and planted it, so I assume I'll have oranges soon. Ta!

Town: Boztown

Name: Pelago

In particular, can I have a cherry or two, as Wolfgang is asking for one? Ta.

I've got peaches and would like any other fruit.

Am I correct in thinking that I can plant the fruit I receive in order to start growing that fruit in my town? I did plant some peaches from trees in my town but the saplings appear to have vanished for some reason. Any ideas?

Name + Town are in my signature.

I'm all good for fruit now thanks.

I think that you need to plant your fruit in the right place to grow a tree - lots of mine have withered or been stunted...you need somewhere in the sunlight and where people are not going to walk too much - I find along walls seems to work quite well. If I plant them out in the open they don't seem to grow as well. Also the fruit seems to grow better in certain areas - coconuts by the sea for example, peaches and oranges on the lower section of town.

Any thoughts?

Coconuts will only grow along the shore.

All other trees need to have enough space so you can walk around it without obstruction.

Tree's planted were town events take place, like the fishing tourney near the river, wil not grow.

You can succesfully grow fruit tress as long as you leave space for the fruit to fall. Try planting a fruit tree right up against the railway fence, it will grow.

Here has a guide on how to succefully plant & grow trees.

If you want a gold tree, plant a shovel in the hole with golden aura, after you've dug out the 1000 bell bag. If it has enough space around it, it'll become a golden tree. And the 'fruit' aint half bad either.

I've not done it before. However, it's along the lines of going to Nook's store with an apple and then selecting to send it as a present or something similar. Then you type in who it's for and he'll give you a code. Post that code here or PM it to me.

I do the same for you but with peaches.
