Transfer window madness

Eh, Soldado is a great striker, everywhere else he's scored better than 1 in 2, and he's got 2 in 2 for Villareal as soon as he got out of Spurs. I think the problem is more with Spurs than him.

They bought a striker that was absolutely and precisely the wrong kind of striker and they paid £26m for him. They were drunk. If he cost less or he fitted the role they needed better, fine, but...No.

(The logic seemed to be that Soldado did goals, Lamela did running fast towards the edges of the pitch, Eriksen made assists. COMBINE! You have Gareth Bale.)

Aye, defi the system and not the player - he did seem to have a complete confidence player and miss many 'easy' finishes but he clearly did not fit the system and that wasn't helped last season by the explosion of Kane.

Rumour has it in terms of cash paid he has cost much or anything in transfer fees as most of the 26m quoted was on milestone payments etc.

He never really had the crowd against him and worked his socks off without scoring, wish him the best and glad to see he is off to a good start :)
