I hope they have good sources. But they have Zelda in their list as well, which probably won't be there if Nintendo's earlier statement is anything to go by.

Didn't someone at Sony say that TLG wouldn't be at E3 this year? Or was that last year?

Either way, I fully expect GAF to melt down no matter what happens. I'm finding it hard to get excited about a game from developers who don't appear to have produced anything new for an entire generation. It'll be a pleasant surprise if it turns out to still exist and end up being good. I can't imagine it'll come close to living up to the hype that the rabid fan base have built up for it.

Considering they've always claimed to be working on it and did actually show it back in 2009, it shouldn't be so ridiculous to think they might give us at least a glimpse of if at an E3 where they've already admitted their first party line up is sparse. If ever there was a time to do this, it's now. And then finish the reveal with... 'Release TBC'.

Because if they've still got NOTHING to show for six years of work, it might be time for them to give up.

The German Playstation Facebook page posted a poll too, asking people if they think The Last Guardian will be at E3 this year. It's probably just a bored community manager passing a few hours and teasing everyone, but you never know!

I do like the joke that TLG is going to be some sort of 'megaton' announcement that will break the internet. What's funnier is that people will actually go mental even if the game is name dropped at the conference.

For those who sadly will be at work and can't stay up. Robo could you possibly add conference archived videos to the first post when they become available? To save me having to Google search and getting spoilers lol. Would love to watch it fresh. Just going to hibernate my pc and turn it back on to the first page of this thread and the other conferences if possible

I'll definitely be doing that, but I've also created a spoiler free thread where I'll be uploading all the conferences as soon as they're available. Just bookmark that thread, and I'll do my best to ensure the conferences are there as soon as they're made available. Anything you can do to give this thread a bit more prominence would be great, as I imagine a lot of people will be in a similar boat.

So is anyone noticing a distinct lack of hype from Sony this E3? My twitter feed seems to be full to bursting with Xbox hype, exec re-tweets and big countdown montages, yet I'm just not seeing the same type of buzz from Sony? Am I just not seeing it or is there less hype in the Sony camp this year, than MS or Nintendo?

Nowt to worry about they announce Bloodborne DLC and that the knack team are now finishing the last guardian and E3 is won.

Looking at things like GAF (Horizon alone has multiple threads) and Gametrailers' most anticipated games of E3, I'd say it's the other way round. I do have seen quite a few people expressing disappointment about the games MS is not showing on Twitter however. Me for example. ;)

That and there's all The Last Guardian whispers of course, ranging from The Guardian to Eurogamer.

Nintendo seems to have the least hype.

MS hype will be in full swing when Gamescom hits.

Well, House has already came out and said the first party line up is sparse. This could of course work in their favour as people will go in with lower expectations. MS on the other hand have been shouting about having the best Xbox games line up ever, which is of course going to set people's expectations sky high and could lead to people being disappointed.

I'm looking forward to both. :)

Yeah I'm wondering if it's a deliberate ploy. Lower expectations and then knock it out the park. At the very least, it looks as though we're going to get Horizon, as the domain name horizonthegame.com /.net /.org has just been registered.

Looks like Sony will be pushing Morpheus hard at E3 with 20 games and 'experiences' at the show.

“We need to convince PS4 owners to spend several hundred dollars to purchase a Morpheus headset, on top of the PS4 they already have,” says Shuhei Yoshida, president of Sony’s Worldwide Studios. “And more gaming content is what will convince them. We have 30 or more games being developed that we are tracking—not all of them will come out at launch, but there are serious efforts being made on all of them.”

I think we all had a feeling they would be focusing mainly on VR and Morpheus but I wonder if that's the cause of the lack of hype? VR is like 3D in that it's hard to get an audience excited over something they can't experience.

If Sony are to spend the majority of the conference on this then it's going to be a big disappointment. Oh hey guys with your £350 PS4 at home, sorry we've not got many games to show you for that BUT we've been busy preparing an exciting opportunity for you to spend a further £500 on a peripheral that'll be even less supported with software than the console your buying it for!!!111

I don't know I'm just not excited at all for VR or Morpheus :(

Half of their booth space is supposedly devoted to it too, but being VR, you probably need that much space. This was posted a few days ago:

VRFocus has been told by sources close to SCE that Project Morpheus will be seeing a ‘big push’ at the company’s annual press conference on 15th June 2015. Following that, ‘around half’ of its booth space, which is already known to be sizeable, will be devoted to showing the device. Videogames on display are said to be ‘first-party and exclusive Morpheus titles’ only, meaning anything also appearing on the Oculus Rift or HTC Vive won’t be featured. Many of these titles will have likely already been revealed in that press conference.
