PC Update, October 1st
2 OCTOBER - YORICK
As many of you know, we released a major patch for Batman: Arkham Knight PC a few weeks ago. While there were significant performance improvements made to the game, the teams are continuing to work on the additional updates that were outlined in our previous post. We expect these updates to be ready at the end of October, at which time the PC version will be made available for purchase. In addition, support for all DLC that has been released for the console versions will be in place.

Thanks again for your continued patience and support. We’ll be sure to update everyone as soon as the update is live.

The good news is that all the DLC will also be released alongside the patch. Finally we can buy additional content for the game.

Woo all 2 hrs or so worth of content - yours on steam for just $40 - The longest of it so far has been a whopping 1 hr long, all the others are about the same as the Harley DLC 20 - 30 mins tops.

I paid £12 for the season pass. Buying from Steam just isn't a locked-in option any more.

Edit: Hmm. Does "support for the DLC in place" mean it will actually come out all together in parity with the consoles, or that it'll be ready to accept the DLC when they do put it out. If everything already available on console isn't there day one of the re-release I'll be a bit miffed.

They say everything previously playable on consoles will be ready for the PC version.

And the PC release of AC: Syndicate isn't out until November, about a month after the console version.

That's just how it's always been with Ubisoft and AC. Unity was the one exception and it was a disaster. I don't think they're reacting to Arkhamgate, but going back to the way it always was because of Unity.

Ahh yes you're right- I remember that with Black Flag now, the PC release didn't come out 'til November again.

Wonder what made them attempt a simultaneous release with Unity? But yes, not a mistake they'll make again.

The below indicated we were getting performance improvements (given the in addition bit talking about the dlc at the end meaning it wasn't about content) - the game goes back on sale on Wednesday along with an update of which zero performance/meaningful update has been given, they just harped on about DLC - so we don't know if it includes all the improvements because as far as I am aware, they haven't detailed what they are. Which is concerning given it is only a few days away.
