My boss away to pick up an Switch with Treasure Tracker for £300 from Game. Any other good deals on the go before he pulls the trigger on that?

Just had a quick look on hotdeals and smyths (not too bad re games stuff) and no that's about as good as it gets. Of course if they're happy to spend another £10 they can get it with MK8, Mario or Zelda, either one of which I'd say was a better game.

I need another holiday recommendation, this time something that will last a fortnight and be fine in portable mode (they don't have wi-fi and tellies in tents, right?).

Hollow Knight, if you don't have it. 20-30 hours, more if you want to be completionist, and it's easy on the battery life. Nice clean artstyle too so it looks great in portable mode. It's an insanely good game too, which helps!

Mario + Rabbids, if you haven’t already played it.

This morning while failing to buy some socks I noticed that my local Sainsbury's does Switches for £299.99 with either Mario + Rabbid or Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Bit late now but Curry's do it for £300 with Mario Odyssey, which is a better game.

I would agree but speaking to him this morning he's ordered it up with Toad last night.

No patience.

Not an amazing deal but then whilst the others were slightly better it's not like Toads a bad game is it. It's actually a rather charming one IMO :).

How about you suggest that they grab £20 or so of eshop credit (or show them how to buy from the foreign eshops) which should get them two or three real gems? If they go for it then you can just sit back and watch the Switch love blossom .

Wow Switches are really holding their value well... don't think Ninty has done a price drop yet on them! :) Picked mine up new with Mario in Feb for £269 which I thought was a good price (it was actually cheaper than used ones I found on gumtree at the time). However this was through an independent trader who had limited stock.

Yeah i like Toad too, playing it with my kids.

Its for his grandsons birthday, the parents are pretty savy I believe so should be on the ball with that side of it.

Nope from a shop where I picked it up all shiny and shrink wrapped with a reciept ... :)

I wouldn't entertain anything that was not 100% legit. He still sells them at the same price now.

Only from marketplace sellers

That one is from Amazon themselves - it will be genuine

I've had fakes from Amazon themselves. There's a thread somewhere on here where others have too. Something to do with them coming from the same stock in the warehouse or something.
