joffocakes
Yet another paid online service is a shame. I'll probably cancel Xbox Live to make up the difference. Looks like there will be a free NES or SNES game each month and they also say that SNES games may have online play added? The wording makes it sounds like you only get the game for that single month, though... http://www.nintendo.com/switch/online-service/
Paulando
Did we hear anything about the virtual console other than the free NES/SNES game a month? Any GameCube VC stuff?

Nespresso
I... can't believe I'm saying this but this parental control feature I actually pretty neat. Nintendo paving the way? http://www.nintendo.com/switch/family-fun/ I like how they portray other online players as creepy Boo's.

sid
Fucking hell thats expensive. game over man had to to come in at 199 imo....Jesus Christ surely they can afford to almost give it away , make some back on the launch games, and then look forward to 80m sales after it explodes. It is not even competitive against PS4.

T Pot
I've stuck a preorder up on Amazon over Here. Dunno if I'll get it out not, but the preorder is free so it doesn't matter if I change my mind.

BossSaru
Wish I had got a proper in at Gameseek for £200 now - £280 makes it a bit too expensive, especially if Nintendo are going to charge for online gaming. A shame, and no doubt a reflection of the weak sterling, but this makes it more expensive than it should be. I think I'll give it a few months to establish a decent catalogue before I jump in. joffocakes
I was worried Nintendo were going to abandon motion controls entirely for Switch so I'm glad they've actually kept and evolved them. Disappointed that 1, 2 Switch isn't a pack-in title because it looks like superb fun. ARMS oughta come with a set of Joy-cons, ideally.

gone fishin
The price seems steep, but the build quality looks good and the specs seem decent. Compare it to an iPhone 6s Plus 32GB (even though the Switch has a larger screen) at £499 or an iPad 32GB at £380 and it's not that bad. But the challenge will be convincing people it's worth it and that's going to come down to games and marketing...

Thwomp
£280? Ahm oot. They've got no proper successor to the 3DS. You can get a 2DS for £79 with a game, what's going to fill that gap now?
