Fair point, I'm making assumptions. I'll be happy if it has a full single-player campaign, I was assuming it would be similar in scope to Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash on Wii U.

Well there is no confirmation of anything. Although the demo has 5 characters and they hinted at there being more than that. Besides it's beginning for a punch out style single player.

ARMS really should have been a lunch title.

It *isn't*?

Oh dear.

It looks good new ip, exclusive, not a port, makes interesting use of hardware.

Not having it at launch....start as you mean to go on?

I think it's out in April along with Mario Kart 8. Could be wrong though.

EDIT: shopto lists ARMS as being the 31'st march and costing 44 quid. Mario kart 8 also costs 44 quid from them.

Also seems like the switch does have an IPS screen. Nice to see that.

The console is in Early Access, please understand.

You joke, but clearly it has been brought forward to fill a gap after the Wii U. There aren't enough *new* games, and those that are there are miles away yet.

This is just more confirmation that Richard Leadbetter's industry sources did indeed give out all the specs for the hardware, the rest of that tech spec is very likely to be accurate too:

This leaked spec actually appeared on Twitter before Nintendo's official reveal. Thought by many to be out of date or fake, we can confirm that Nintendo has briefed developers recently with the same information. One source tells us that the 4K30 aspect of the spec was not part of the developer presentation, but everything else was. We can assume that the clock-speeds are theoretical maximums, and not the 768/307.2MHz combo we've confirmed as locked in retail hardware.

CPU: Four ARM Cortex A57 cores, max 2GHz
GPU: 256 CUDA cores, maximum 1GHz
    Architecture: Nvidia second generation Maxwell

    Fill: 14.4 pixels/cycle
    Memory: 4GB
    Memory Bandwidth: 25.6GB/s
    VRAM: shared
System memory: 32GB, max transfer rate: 400MB/s
    USB: USB 2.0/3.0
    Video output: 1080p60

Does that also mean that games aren't gonna be £60 cos I got a bit of a shock just now.

I expect they will drop down to £44.99, they won't get that many sales at £60.
