I've got the Anker 10,000. Kept me going all the way through an 8 hr flight last week and had plenty to spare.

Is it the same one as tests on EG, if so looks a bargain as its small and cheap?

That article raised a good point, I have been charging my switch when it runs out on my current power bank but I guess the best way is to have the power bank plugged in and drain that first giving you another 3 hours on the switch battery!

It has to be the Anker or Rav power. I think I'm going to get the Anker.

I have this Rav Power one

Charging via USB-C to Switch USB-C while playing Zelda is impressive. One advantage of this over the Anker is that you can charge the battery and charge the Switch all at the same time. With the Anker it's one of the other.

So what's the exact reason that my Anker powerbank's only giving my Switch a trickle charge? (Read: I can charge-and-play my Switch whilst connected to the powerbank, but it'll just drain its charge more slowly.)

Is the amount of ampere too low? Or the voltage? (I didn't pay attention during science class.)

Does it have a USB-C port, or do you have it going from USB-A to USB-C?

My understanding is that you need a USB-C port on your battery if you want to charge and play the Switch as USB-A dosent have the power to do this.

Depends on the power bank, some will work fine with an A - C cable.

That's not true of all of them. One of mine charges while playing (although minimal). The other doesn't. They both seem to have the same spec.

Are they outputting more than 5V/2.4A?

I sent back my previous RAV Power as it would charge when sleeping, but not when playing Zelda.

Yes. They both say they do.

Have looked again. One of them

seems to have different powered slots. Weird.

Not on the original PS3, Slim and newer only.

I have a slim.

Looks like it's not on the original model at all. But on the Slim(s) it's called Control for HDMI according to a quick Google.

Right. That's turned off already.

Sounds like you rushed it to play more golf.

I didn't need to rush it. Took my time on the final three bosses and it was still only a couple of hours gameplay.

But yes, more golf.

Should I buy that NeoGeoGolfGame or play more Zelda?

Neo Turf Masters is brilliant and I've gone back to it time and again. It's a classic. Buy it now. But be content to go back to it later because Zelda is even better!

Why is Turf Masters so good? Why isn't it just a dated golf game?

It IS just a golf game no doubt about that.

But it's graphics are big, bold and colourful and it has a good sense of style.

It also boils down all the bells and whistles of every golf game before and since to a simple and easy 1 button premise and delivers it in a quick fire way that it very immediate and fun to play.

I honestly can't think of a better golf game created in the many years since release.

the courses are good, the controls simple and it's a case of easy to pick up hard to master...
