16th July is the next drop according to the manager of my local game. Which was a bit more informed that our granger games who just leave "in stock" signs out when they ran out days ago

Which is why I went and preordered the splatoon 2 bundle.

Going to see if game are willing to part with the exclusive pins they have for splatoon 2 preorders

Despite what any review says you might want to go back to 'waggle' eventually, at least that's how I feel after watching Mr. Yabuki clean house at E3. I'm certainly of the opinion that not being able to curve punches is going to impact game play at some point, especially once people start to learn the game.

To be honest it's not my type of thing at all. I can rarely be arsed with fighting games and I'm not fond of motion controls. I was just wondering how the non motion controls worked because I didn't realise it had them. I'm not going to get it at full price, I might grab it one day if I see it cheap.

Getting better! Cleared lvl 2 after watching Mr Yabuki and doing the training....still haven't won online mind.

Edit - this should be in the ARMS thread!

Lvl 5 for me, with Byte & Barq. 8-)

Range is EVERYTHING in this game - as you would expect in a game built totally around telegraphed attacks. Keep a good range and you have tons of options, and are less susceptible to grab spam.

You know, I was surprised that there wasn't more conversions of Wii U games announced by Nintendo. It's not that I advocate the whole Switch software library being Wii U conversions, more that it would be a shame if games like Pikmin 3 and the recent Paper Mario were buried away and forgotten about on a low-selling console which cannot even be bought at retail any longer.

Yeah I'd be down for Tropical Freeze and Captain Toad too as I never played them on Wii U.

Surprising they're producing a new Yoshi game already instead of porting Woolly World.

Well they already ported it to the 3DS. I think Porting it to another system might be taking it a bit too far.

I'm sure I read an interview with Reggie where he said they'd be considering more down the line, but only where they felt they could add improvements to the originals to make them the "definitive versions" (Like they've done with MK 8 Deluxe and Pokken DX).

I'd be all over some updates, whilst I had a Wii U I didn't get as much time to play as I'd have liked (being a responsible grown up and all), but the portable nature of the Switch totally changes that.

I'd rebuy a few Wii U games on Switch.

I want N64 games with stable framerates. Oh, a 60fps version of Stunt Race FX would also be great; there's a good game in there.

Yep I'd much rather see HD versions of N64 and GameCube rather than Wii U ports. 1080, Waverace and FZero to start with.

Does anyone plan to pick up oceanhorn? It's out tomorrow and I missed it on the various other platforms it has been out on. Looks like a decent game and having looked about people have enjoyed playing it elsewhere. At £13.50 I think it's one I will pick up :)

For anyone that has played it how many hours gameplay did you get from it? And will it be kinda spoilt considering we have already had an impressive Zelda game come out on the console.

Regarding fantasy scrolling shooters on the Switch, I'd pick Gradius Gaiden over Gradius V, but would LOVE to see the CPS-2 game Pro Gear running on it, or any number of vertically orientated shooters that never saw home release.

I also want this to be a reality one day (with a d-pad) but I wont hold my breath:

One thing that's confused me.. Since I've had my switch, it's been pretty much exclusively in flight mode, as I don't need WiFi while playing Zelda.

During this time, I've played a bunch with the screen on a table and joycons in my hands, wiimote style.

Yesterday this stopped working and now it's telling me that I have to disable flight mode to do this.

Wtf!
