Yeah, Cairney really let you down with that challenge, could have been nasty.

However, it was nice to see two sides trying to keep the ball down and play passing football, although I think Wolves had the better of the first half I was still nervous, I think it could have gone either way 11 v 11.

Always a pleasure to go to Craven Cottage, had a great time before and after in the 8 bells too :)

I can barely believe we're one win off the play offs, as I said before, best league in Britain.

One last point, I hate Wolves in blue, it's just not right.

Wolves up for sale.

Just in time to get a bit of a 'club in crisis' narrative going for the visit of Sky, then they'll come out and give us a thrashing :coffee:

lol

Who would've thought selling all your best players for £10m, reinvesting £500k of it (on two players apparently not ready for the first team), weakening every area of the pitch and having no option but to have Ishmael Miller up front would lead to your team looking totally fucking shite? It's going to be a long slog until January and we'll have a hell of a lot to do once the window opens..

Yeah, I didn't watch the 5-0 thankfully! That was during out awful run in November. I watched the 2-0 Wolves win and I thought it was a fantastic game, Derby were the best team I saw last season in that game I think. Could have gone either way, Derby looked really dangerous going forward.

I'm expecting 2-0 or 2-1 to Derby tomorrow.

Meh. 0-0 v Fulham today, the run wasn't going to last forever but we struggled to finish them off even though we had 20 minutes of dominance in the second half but almost conceded on the counter. We really need to put someone to the sword and show how good we can be.

How did Pena get on?

Quite happy with a point away at Boro. We defended well and nearly caught you out as smithstock says. 13th is certainly a lot better than we were this time last year, I just worry about injuries over such a long rest of the season. As long as we can cut out being the most inconsistent side in the league then I don't think playoffs are out of the question.

Aside from a couple of periods, it was the best we've played for a year and a half, pretty much. Great to see the midfielders passing to each other and driving forward. Bradley Johnson is just a dream player to have in this league. I thought Wolves looked a good passing side with good strikers but lacked muscle and defensive nous.

Average / 10.

He seems to want to cut inside all the time and doesn't like getting chalk on his boots. It's like our formation is lop sided with him in it. His build isn't particularly athletic either and Adomah wasn't much better when he got subbed on, his crossing is getting worse.

Derby looked fantastic, but I'd expect them to, they've been building that team for a few years now, they really need to deliver this season.

I love the way Wolves are trying to play, at 1-1 we looked fantastic for about 15 minutes and had we taken that chance to go 2-1 up we may have taken something.

Problem is we have a very young back four and goal keeper and they made far too many mistakes yesterday, but they will have days like that. In a year or two I'm hoping we'll be a force in the league, although it depends a lot on who owns the club at that point.

The third Derby goal was decisive I think, if we'd have gone in at 2-1 I think we would have had a chance, but Derby were clearly deserving winners and will take some stopping if they play like that every week!

Oh indeed. Turns out he's known he was getting barred since last Wednesday, so him sacking Rosler was to deliberately get in there before he got hooked. I'm not really sure how this works, they're not going to have new owners so presumably he'll have some proxy relaying all his decisions anyway?

The new manager is really funny for talking about himself in the third person from what I've seen (basically only the Guardian's "Fiver" taking the piss) so he should fit right in.
