English Franchise League Season 2015/16

Colin was with us in a coaching role, makes sense for him to temporarily fill the void till a permanent decision is made. I know Colin isn't well liked but I wonder where we'd be today if Colin had never been sacked at the beginning of TFs tenure and the club had experienced managerial stability.

Regardless Ramsey came across as likeable but clueless, I'm not upset the club have made this decision so early in the season.

The rumours from yesterday turned out to be well founded.. We've got Klopp's right hand man in

Seems a great fit on the surface and probably the most interesting appointment we've ever had. Unknown quantity in this country and as a number one so obviously a fair amount of risk but I'm delighted to see us being progressive and thinking outside the box for a change! Should bring a bit of the buzz back at the very least..

Well that was about the most frustrating match ever. If it'd been FIFA I'd have been calling the CPU a cheating fucker and throwing my controller through the TV.

Leeds should blatantly have had a man sent off then two minutes later have their first shot on target.. 1-0. A couple of minutes later their second and 2-0. Helped by shite defending mind. We come out all over them second half and they get their third through an absolute beauty, the only shot they had in about a thirty minute period. The lad who should've gone played a big part in two of the goals.

At least Wagner will have seen what needs to be addressed - firepower up front, someone who can provide a final ball (without Butterfield we generally get to the edge of the box and just look baffled) and a tendency for Keystone Cops defending. Bit of work to do then!

At least there were some positives in the kids looking good and Vaughan looking fit and sharp, which could be crucial to get us through to January.

EIGHT managerial changes since the start of the season already.

Curbishley interested in the Fulham job, apparently...

That would not be good. He's been out of the game for far too long and wasn't much of a help when he was brought in to assist various managers over the last two years. Pearson gets my vote. Or whoever Watford's boss was last year.

Jokanovic. I think he's managing Maccabi Tel Aviv now.

Anyway, as I read on the guardian comments earlier, the EFL thing was clearly decided on by how good it would work as a hashtag.

Yeah of all the shite usual suspects kicking around he looked easily the best. Did very well at Norwich and as grim as his Villa teams might've been he was given fuck all to spend so probably did alright to keep them up for a couple of seasons. Of the few bigger money signings he made one was Benteke and even that was only £7m which is nothing in Premiership terms.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if he did well at Blackburn.

F is right next to D, wonder how many EDL hashtag will be done by mistake.

Another frustrating day at Fortress Portman Road - did any of the Rllmuk Wolves fans go (to provide an alternative to my biased moaning)?

Probably some of the best football we've played this season but we absolutely gifted their first equaliser and their second was terrible defending. Shortly before this I was thinking to myself "We're going to win this, there's no way we'll give away two appalling goals in one game".

I never learn.

Plus side - Sears looking quality, Douglas was good - more like the player I expected when we signed him, and until the calamity goals I thought we looked really solid at the back. Despite missing a free header in front of goal, Pittman remains my favourite player since Marcus Stewart.

Fair play to Wolves - they brought just under 1,000 and one of their fans headed a ball back when it went out for a throw in and celebrated like he'd scored the winner in the FA Cup final.

We all feared we'd fall apart after Whitehead was subbed off today and so it proved, very quickly .

Sounded like there were plenty of positives given the selection problems we've got but it's still gonna be very much uphill until we get a striker in regardless of who the manager is.. Couldn't help but wonder if we could've gone in for Vaz Te when he went to Charlton on a free last week.

Quite happy with 2-2 gojng behind twice you have to be happy. boring season this, not going up not going down.

I didn't go, that's a small away following for us, fans stayed away as Ipswich were charging £37.50 a ticket, which is mental.

Good luck for the rest of the season, almost have a soft spot for Ipswich due to super Mick and the fact that Norwich "only hate Wolves and Ipswich"

Ouch £37.50 is crazy.

I forgot about Grant Holt - took a load of stick and I thought played the whole pantomime villian thing very well (including some sly nods to confirm that yes, he did shag Delia Smith). Some of the vitriol sent his way was quite frankly baffling but he (and the Wolves subs warming up with him who were clearly checking with him to make sure he knew who everyone was singing about) played along, and then I'm sure went home to his mansion and piles of money and cried because a load of farmers called him names.

Haha, that sounds great.

To be honest, I'm no fan of Holt, I wasn't pleased when we signed him and I'll be amazed if he manages to score a goal for us during his loan.

I like LeFondre though, I enjoy watching that type of player, low centre of gravity, comfortable on the ball.

Three points off sixth for you guys I believe, all to play for.

Sorry about that. The third was a bit harsh, it has to be said.
