Gooner 3-2 Mardigan

No injuries despite Mardigans best efforts on Costa.

I was worth the win, despite scoring a scrappy goal and conceding a pen that wasn't a pen for Mards.

Thought he should have had a CB sent off for a foul through the back of Lukaku as well.

GG though mate, was a bit tense at the end, good luck in the rest.

The scrappy goal was my defender getting fouled and then my pad cutting out leaving you to steal the ball and blast into the net. No excuses for any of my results as I have had zero practice and trying to get caught up after holiday. This season will be very much a learning exercise.

I dominated the early chances, once again Walcott and Hazard doing most of the damage. I got it to 4-1 before mardigan came back to 4-3 in the last minute. Skrtel got a red late on but I wasn't really able to take advantage of the gap.

I was all over baring for 20 mins, de gea being the main reason I didn't score! He then let in a relatively tame effort from Walcott and after that I was fairly under the cosh. Game swung right around, Witsel popped up with my 2nd in the 88th minute when it had looked for the previous 60 odd like baring would be the only one getting another goal.

I started strongly with an Ings brace against his old team but then Mardigan woke up about half an hour in to pull one back and from there on it was fairly even, I struggled to get the best of bloody Minge-ole whilst Mardigan looked a real threat any time he got forward.

Good games last night lads. Really the first I have played decent opposition apart from a few opponents in Ultimate Team so was exposed frequently. Need a lot more time with the game this week to get my head around all the little changes and think a shift of formation might help too.

Should be about tonight after 9pm and can play any time during the day if anyone is about :)

My results are so low scoring, its just so hard to score on this version. I've been through on goal so many times and yet a tame effort trickles towards goal despite lots of power.

Is finesse (r1) shooting the way to go? Or just hold forward and blast it? What's the knack?

On the plus side i'm well happy with how my defending is going, much better than previous years.

I'm really enjoying the game and there's much less rage on this. I think its mainly due to the opposition creating a great chance to score rather than touch of dooms or over the top ball spam, I can appreciate a good passing move. Corners and pen though, oh man such BS! ha

6 matches left for me, ill be on Wed night from 10.

Al hit the bar before taking an early lead with Robben but I took control after that and had my best performance yet (not saying much). Cheers for the game.

Timmo, you absolutely battered me, great performance! The early header off the bar and the goal were my only attempts in the whole game. Fernandes had me in fits throughout, he must have run out of steam to pick up the injury

Mardigans players seemed to have really good positioning and everything just seemed to fall for him in this game. He scored 3 rebounds, ran through after my two CBs ran into each other when in possession and lost the ball to score , and scored from an intercepted square ball round the goalie that bounced back to Candreva. Although, admittadly Mignolet should've saved my goal with Tevez

I'm not saying I should have won as I played appalling but I felt like Mardigan had the rub of the green on every encounter. And I had Glen Johnson playing as if he was still at Liverpool being your 12th man
