Clearly he's planning to write an epic fantasy series and, just like Tolkien, is painstakingly working out the language they speak.

Alas, after his daughter dies, he destroys his fine figure by binge eating and, although he keeps his big white beard, he begins to lose his luxurious hair and tries to hide this by wearing a stupid sailor cap.

I love this series. From such an unpromising concept (how many TV series based on films turn out well?) these two seasons have been the best thing on television in the past couple of years. Having self-contained seasons has worked brilliantly so far and it is good to read this will be coming back for a third.

Really wish channel 4 wouldn't be a week behind as its to tempting not to pop in this thread. But yeah, best thing on telly in years.

Never got into season 1 so I definately need to correct that. Hope it dosnt pale in comparison though.

I've not spotted the links to the other series can someone point them out?

Also anyone else notice the game of hangman on the phone box?

Well, there's Lou Solverson, the old dad from the cafe in series 1. And there were the references to the Sioux Falls massacre in the first series too. There might be one or two other things, but those immediately spring to mind.

It's a bit late in the day, but I'm going to put in the thread title to use spoiler tags until the Tuesday after the C4 broadcast because it's bit dangerous coming in here at the moment if you're on Channel 4 time.
