I'd love to play 4 swords and seeing as my flatmate has a copy of GBA LttP as well as me that should be possible.

Except that mine is a US copy and his is PAL  ;)  thanks a fucking lot Nintendo.

Don't you need 4 of them to even play it?

do you, I thought you could play with just 2?

if so thats even more :(

No, it plays just fine with two. It's very clever actually in that it changes the puzzles to match the number of players.

GBA's have no PAL or NTSC, they're all physically the same. So I guess you just can't link the US game with the European one, something to do with changes because of the localisation perhaps?

Yeah, different versions can't be linked together. There are differences between them, though only subtle usually (languages, etc.), there's just no region lock.

Any news if this is actually going to be released outside of Japan? I damn well hope so otherwise I'm getting my US GC chipped to play Japanese games.

Oh and me, my girlfriend and her nephew are the 10th, 11th and 12th people to have played Zelda:The Four Swords on the GBA and it's bloody brilliant.

So far it's due to release in the USA before Japan (only by a couple of weeks mind).

Source?

I can't find any mention of it on any websites apart from one that I've never heard of and lists it as being released on Feb 19th (my birthday!). On Nintendo.com it's listed as "rumored" to be released only, which makes Feb 19th a little over optimistic in my view.

EDIT: Gamestop is listing it as 11th May release. I don't put much stead in release dates on online shops though. Whens the Japanese date?
