Yeh, saw that in passing which if true is bloody annoying. I'm only level 9 so best get on it!    Good news on more interchange exits though as people camping the SE one is very frustrating at times.

Also saw reports popping up on reddit last night of hacks which allow you get all your stuff nicked off you in map by other players/hackers. Err, ok?!?!

Sacriel is adamant labs is full of wall hackers and cheats. Seen a couple of videos of people being repeatedly shot in specifically the same place each time so it looks like aim bots too.

Battle State need to learn the lessons Blue Hole didn't and to listen to the streamers/players on shit like this and crack down on it hard.

And if it is to 15 I'm fucked. It's taken me 50 hours to get to 9.

It was labs! Seems like BS aren't the quickest at fixing things from what I've read but like you say need to fix asap.

Come play in a group, much more chance of surviving, having a good run and leveling up.

I don't like the sound of all this. Come the reset I think this is going to be very unpopular.

No issues there that I can see. More exfils a good thing on Interchange.

The energy buffs are fine too, as long as they arent too restrictive.

Its a realism game so, not too bothered.

Looking forward to the next wipe I have to say, starting again, for the third time lol

Yes sorry, it’s a cloud based streaming service. Not ideal but better than no PC.

yes, @Herbalizer uses it. Sounds great

Lvl 15 for flea is to hopefully keep macro lads (Like Sacriel) away as they were just getting to lvl 5 then farming apparently.

The energy and stamina thing is whatever. I don't much care about it. If the weight system works like it's supposed to (and how I've understood it) it should make juggernauts have to work harder.

Also it's not a realism thing because this game has shit like magically restoring limb functionality by applying a big enough med kit. I hate that excuse. It's more like an authenticity thing than a realism thing.

That's beside the by. The fact is the bar to entry is massive in this game as it is, and some people just aren't going to be very good at it. Before level 5 it was difficult to do anything in the game, then the flea market opened up and life got much easier for lowbie dickeheads like me, but it is still a harsh, unforgiving game even with the options the flea market gives you. Making it level 15 is a fucking lazy solution instead of actually tackling the problem. It's not even 'catering to the casuals' as I saw somewhere else, but there's learning the curve and having to climb the fucking thing like the fucking Eiger.

I don't know what the solution is, and Battle State are laughing all the way to the bank because the only way to play it is to buy it from them. It's not going to put the majority of people off the game because anyone invested enough will get to the point they need to be at.

Point taken on the realism. I suppose I should have said it isnt a run and gun game, there are elements in game to restrict that, you either like that or you dont, I think we all like that edge as long as its not too restrictive.

The game will be marginally harder by not getting access to Flea until lvl 15 but, I see that as a challenge, am I alone here? Everyone will have to deal with that. Remember too that you still have your scav option, these guys can go in and find serious gear that potentially could get you through a few rounds without access to Flea.

This game did my head in at the start, i couldnt believe what it was asking of me, the grind was part of the love affair for me. Its like every bell curve scenario, struggle at the start then it starts to level out. I'm sure that bell curve will still be there.

Join us you grumpy bastard and grind together, thats the way to do it

:D

I dont mind the change to level 15 for flea market.  I would like to think that I could get to level 15 reasonably quickly using the knowledge I have gained on this wipe.  Get the quests done, level up through them and you will be level 15 before you know it.

@moosegrinder I get from your post above that playing with new people is a big step to take.  It was for me too fella, I have horrid anxiety and dont tend to play with people I dont know.  But I took the plunge and Mullo and co couldnt have been more accommodating. So come and join in.  Trust me you will learn a lot from playing with these guys.  I learn something new every night and I think its improved me as a player (im still shite most of the time though lol)

100% a better player. the difference is notable. We have also learnt from you, dont be modest. Forcing ourselvs to play as a group is pretty satisfying. I love moving as a group and taking down players in this game more than any other (Its on a par with Arma KoTH)

Do it! @moosegrinder

Think I just missed you last night @Sir Mullo. I was coming on as you were coming off.

Have so much stuff I'm running out of room in my inventory now, re4 management skills to the fore! Thinking may have to upgrade for more room.

Had a few runs last night trying to get scav kills on customs, as soon as main, splat, get done. Go in as scav, I'm dripping in riches and out. All  in the head.

Got done twice as my main with so much good stuff and even heard the f@cker one time, checked, went back to looting , looked up...bang in the gut with a shotgun.

More please!

Totally agree, solo is fraught and stressful (in a good way). Group it comes alive even more it seems, so much fun.

Can you all stay up a bit later in the week please? ;)

From what I can gather,  various combinations  of money disappearing from accounts,  lots of motion sickness from the new head bobbing and many other gripes on strength and other attributes. Also knackered the uws (1440p etc) options/setup which is bloody annoying!

A lot of which I'm sure are just people who like to moan but it didn't seem to go down too well that they've amended some of it already. Suppose it's a beta so can't really complain.

Game is still brilliant. Took out two level 56 lads the other night and took all their gear. The feeling of getting off the map with it was like no other game.

Agreed. Slowly but surely getting to grips a bit more but still unbelievably thankful for all the assistance. You lot seem to have eagle eyes, I can never see those bloody scavs at distance, or maybe just experience?

Level 10 now so have access to the flea market again. Phew.

Come play @moosegrinder

Up to 13 now and rising. Becoming slightly more adept and less terrified. Some utterly fantastic rounds, especially in groups. Each has its own story to tell.

Was with @Sir Mullo earlier and another friend on Shoreline. Both high level, both got taken out (eek!) so I looted his gun (with delightful thermal scope) and nearly had a heart attack getting out but managed it. Worth a cool 250k and I got the f@cker who took him out.

Absolutely astonishing game. Nothing quite like it out there.

Game is 25% off currently. Just bought it on the strength of what you guys have been saying about it.

I'm absolutely shit at FPS but this sounds pretty good.

What with currently being furloughed I should get more time than usual, as long as my kid's home schooling doesn't send me mad.

Nice!

Get ready to get confused, frustrated, terrified and exhilarated.

Read up as much as possible and come join us as groups are far more fun imo.

Cheers, I'll try and join you guys as soon as I'm not an embarrassment. In the meanwhile could you point me in the right direction for reading material?
