Was there 'friendly fire'?

None actually. i know why we failed in one or two missions so thats something I suppose. Smaller goals next time round I reckon and try and survive as opposed to taking on the whole server, which is what I, we, tried to do, foolish.

Pro tip: Off line mode

When you have modded a gun, I encourage you to take said gun into factory and enable offline mode and increase scavs up to high level. The amount of times this has saved me from going into a raid with a non functioning gun is unreal.

Generally I try to do as many off line modes as possible on different maps too. Identify shortcuts and vantage points and also get familiar with those exit points. Im 300 plus raids in and I still struggle with exfil from time to time.

Decided today to try a different approach and I've gone into an Interchange PMC run with just a pistol and nothing else with the plan to kit myself out and nick some decent stuff to sell. I'm trying to gain experience but I don't have the confidence or skill to risk my decent guns, especially without access to the flea market.

Got out of my first with a a few valuable bits. Made over 120k.

A pretty good night for me, managed to get out with over 300k guns from 2 runs and various other bits. Went up to level 7 after the last run despite not killing anyone.

Hopefully I hid @Sir Mullo's gun well enough so he can get that back. Definitely feel like I'm improving but still have very far to go.

Excellent stuff. You get xp for tasks as well once handed in which has taken me over a few times without noticing.

Sorry I couldn't come back but making dinner called. It is so much fun playing in a group even when you get mugged.

Well that was almost a complete wash out tonight, survived a scav run with @Len. Died 3 or 4 more times in various scav/pmc guises but at the very death I managed to do a bit of sneaking around Interchange and nabbed 3 kills, one PMC and 2 scav.

Came out with a couple of decent bits, not to mention 30 hours of fuel for my generator in my hideout.

  • 3 weeks later...

So the wipe is in 2 or  3 weeks time. this means everyone back to level 1, exciting times. We've been putting the hard yards in, we should be ready to hit the ground running day of wipe. Be a good time for old and new players to come back to it. We have a solid crew up, new comers welcome,

This seemingly discounts the fact that every time there's a large patch it falls over, least of all when there's thousands of people scrambling to get back online because they haven't had a reason to play in months :p

After a shit couple of weeks with lots of death and not much money things seem to be going better for me, so hopefully I'll contribute a bit to the team post wipe, lack of game time is a bit crap now I'm back at work though.

The agenda after the wipe will probably look like this:

Lots of scav runs to build up reserves.

Start missions to build up Dealers

Slowly build up hideout

Build up skills

Going in together as PMCs is going to be great fun

I'm hoping I'm going to be back on for the wipe, WITH squads because I could do with actually finishing some quests and getting my hideout off the mark.;

I'll believe that when I see it, such a tease.

I know, man. I'm sorry. Actually getting the fortitude to be sociable is much harder after the fucking lockdown as well. I'll make a concerted effort, I promise.

Hey man, we'd love to have you, when ever you feel up to it, good group of lads here to lean on most nights. Keep the faith!
