I don't think it really matters.

Crazy idea: Stick a cassette in, record it and auction it off. You'd probably get around tuppence, but if you could get someone involved in the game on the tape to sign it?

Good luck with this. We spent 6 weeks in our local PICU in 2009. We got 2 nights in the hospital mews to prepare for discharge, but were within commuting distance so we did 4 visits per 24 hours for the 6 weeks before that. I'm glad you were able to live on site during your stay, as it would be awful to be hours apart from your poorly baby. I also did some fundraising for them for a few years after we were discharged, because they are such amazing places with such dedicated staff. Shame the government doesn't fund the NHS enough for all the comforts that wards like that should have.

Thanks for the donation. That's really kind of you.

The first major event I'm taking on is Saturday March 26th - I will be taking on Final Fantasy VII with aim of completing it in a continuous run without dying. It'll be streamed via Twitch and if anyone wanted to try taking on this frankly stupid task along with me it would be interesting to see how we all fair.

The twitch channel is - http://www.twitch.tv/retro101uk

I'm also going to do a more low key Street Fighter V thing at some point and some retro based things once I get twitch steaming sorted for that.

I honestly can't stand Final Fantasy games but I've followed your twitch channel nevertheless. Bring on March 26th. Watching you play will save me the bother of having to play it myself! ;)

Is it going to be a 24hr marathon session (as I have no idea how long it takes to complete ffvii?!)???

I've also donated to the cause. Hopefully we can smash your fundraising target long before you stream.
