well it looks like filming in Donegal is about to start shooting as several of the main actors have just flown into belfast international airport today

Snoke is Anakin Skywalker's father. Or at the very least was the cause of Anakin's immaculate conception.

 

I'm worried that it's so shit, it'll be true. 

I cant see why that would be shit.  Also I doubt it very much, I cant see anything to do with the prequels being referenced in any meaningful way.

 

also its not a massive spoiler at all really so those worried about clicking dont worry, its not a plot point as such, more just an explanation of something George fucked up the prequels with.

Ugh, that would be shit, and would - as Mr. Gerbik said - be like something Lucas would come up with.

Anakin's immaculate conception needs to be quietly forgotten, not brought back up. It's one of the (many) things wrong with the Prequels, and I find it hard to believe anyone involved with the new films would want to do something like that.

I don't think it's a stretch that someone like Snoke would have connections with characters we already know. Even though we hadn't been introduced to him in the movies yet, he is clearly a major player in the galaxy. 

 

I maintain its unlikely though, no director will want his movies connected to the prequels.
