Deshaun Watson to the Texans will be very interesting to watch as it develops. If he can be even an average to good QB then the Texans are going to be very dangerous, minus the QB position which is admittedly huge the Texans have to be one of the most stacked teams in the league

Thats why it was a shame that Brian Hoyer had such a shocker in the play-offs season before last after a great regular season. They had a dood all-round team but if the QB is having a bad day then it doesnt matter how mnay sacks Watt,  Cushing et al get.

Jay Cutler has retired, he was always pretty good, above average for sure but could never quite achieve what his talent merited. His surly attitude was always his downfall and it was clealy evident when i saw him play in the flesh, he just looked fed up 95% of the time, whether he was or not. Id be interested on hearing his broadcasts when he starts in the fall.

Agree All or Nothing not as good but don't think that is a reflection of production values or quality of the show itself, just the on field drama is a bit lower quality.

I also saw that a second season of Last Chance U is coming to Netflix on 21st July, of the 2 series I preferred this one first time round (both were great)

The offensive and defensive co-ordinators don't come across all that well either. Basically, when things aren't going to plan they just scream 'fucks' at the players hoping it will somehow motivate them.

No wonder players don't seem to respond at times. Apart from Donald, he's still a beast.

This got better and better as the season went on, it wasn't as much on field drama as the first season, rather the off field events watching a team slowly disintegrate.

There seems to be far too much talking and too many meetings going on, with bored players sitting around yawning - and I will never understand the benefits of the 1-2-3 'shout random word together' huddle thing. By the end they couldn't even be arsed with them.

Will be watching out now for the Rams results next season (in addition to Arizona) - would love to see something like this format done for a Premier League football team.

I also saw that a second season of Last Chance U is coming to Netflix on 21st July, of the 2 series I preferred this one first time round (both were great), also saw an interview with the All or Nothing show runner and he was hopeful they had a team lined up for a 3rd season.

Finished it this morning. The scene with Fisher telling his staff and then his players he'd been sacked was brutal, proper feels for that even though I didn't take to him. Hopefully they can turn things around and at least have a winning season! I'll be keeping an eye on them for sure.

I enjoyed it just as much as the first season too, it was interesting to see a different perspective to the NFL with a losing team rather the successful Cardinals.

NFL Films again did a fantastic job of capturing what goes on behind the scenes. Next stop August 8th for Hard Knocks with the Titans which should be fun.

Elliot getting himself into potentially big trouble. The Cowboys just cut someone who, alledgedly, stole a twinky which is awful considering how much theyve stuck up for horrible, horrible yet productive players.

Anyone going to the game at twice Ham tomorrow? @TehStu I'll be wearing my new cowboys stuff so will represent dem boys in your stead ;)

I was like... hang on, no posts since July? This is last year's thread, go here!

I need to get me a Prescott jersey. I've got an Aikman from the early 90s, couldn't bring myself to get a Romo. But now I believe.
