My team. A few injury risks and pre-season hype heroes in there, but feel pretty good about it. Picked ninth in my league (Charles set to miss week 1, hence benching).

 

 

 

EDIT: Should note, I really wanted D. Johnson, Gurley or Elliott, but they were all gone by my pick so I went heavy on the WR's.

Yeah I am. I've decided not to work tomorrow so may as well, should be good, expecting a tight game.

 

I was thinking earlier how weird its going to be with no Megatron in the league this year. Used to always catch the Detroit highlights just to see him play. Probably the best wide receiver I've seen since I got into American football.

growing up staying up for the games till 1 seemed easier. Now i live here and it seems a push to stay awake for the whole game.. 

 

Should be good game tonight. Kubiak will finally get to choose his offense, so it may be a very different team on offense, and still combined with that great defense.

Had to drive to work today so didn't get to stay up, but watching some highlights... how many helmet shots did Cam take? Bit ridiculous, especially for a sport that's already in the midst of concussion issues. Exciting game though!

Watched the condensed game highlights this morning on the train. Good game.

 

Cam does take some big hits at times though, he can't do that for much longer if he wants to prolong his career. One thing to get sacked, but its totally different when he's running into players.

Was a decent game. Both teams looked good, with the Broncos getting stronger as the game went on. Cam Newton looked shook in the second half, as if he wasn't quite right physically.

I watched in my accommodation in Philadelphia live. I went on Lincoln Financial Field (Home of Eagles) stadium tour as I am going to watch Eagles V Browns and had fun banter with the Eagles fan on the tour. Next weekend I will be at Cleveland Browns watching Browns V Ravens as part of one month USA Tour.

My Hawkeyes spanked the Cyclones in the Iowa derby, 42-3. We've got so many incredible seniors, I hope they all go on to the draft next year. AP 16 currently, that'll surely go up.

Aaron Rodgers is sooooooo good. That throw for the TD when he was being dragged down was brilliant. Not many QBs could do that. 

 

Been impressed by the Jags so far though, it maybe the first season where they might not be trash.

Jags may have blown this by giving that penalty to make it 3rd and 3, rather than 3rd and long.

I'm so sick of supporting the Dolphins. There was no way we should be even getting close to the Seahawks, and then we get our chance and then we go and fuck it up right at the end. Argh.
