Seen the first three and it's fine for what it is trying to be. I watched all the films the week before and its better than Sum of all Fears and Shadow Recruit so far. First show I've found on Prime that has Dolby Vision and it certainly looks the part.

My TV does Dolby vision but I don't think this show is enabling it, disappointing as Netflix stuff enables it but I assumed Prime didn't support it. Are you watching this via the TV app?

Yes the app on an LG B7. It is the usual Amazon farce where you have to make sure you are picking the UHD version of the show, which is not the one that appears multiple times on the home screen or via the search. Find the genres section and pick UHD and it should be in there. At first only standard HDR badge popped up when I first tried it on release morning. When I retried it in the evening the Dolby Vision one appeared.

Hmm. Failed abysmally to find the uhd version on Friday. Will have to try again,

I'm on some newer horizontal layout they've copied from Netflix. The 'TV Genres' section which has an item labelled 'Prime 4K Ultra-HD' with an icon of grey and green cubes moves but it was at least ten rows down. Finding that is the key to pretty much all of the UHD content. Once you watch the first the correct version sticks in your Watch Next section at the top thankfully (or add to your list).

It has to be intentional. It seems unlikely it is related to bandwidth costs for them, and the only semi-plausible explanation I've seen online is that they got a lot of support tickets raised about it not working for people on slow connections. It doesn't explain why they don't make it scale like Netflix do.

Then there's stuff like this https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-45355186

Cool I found it, at the top, TV section then UHD row. Thanks.

The show itself I'm finding a bit cheesy but enjoyable enough.

Finished it. I really enjoyed it, especially the fact that they didn't fall prey to the usual deus ex machina tropes.

I'm shocked that the chopper wasn't blown out of the sky or that the drone pilot didn't become a jihadist or something.

Looking forward to season 2.

Not bad, not bad at all.

There's a couple of things that pissed me off...

Spoiler

Low-budget Miles Teller going to Syria, and Cathy's Ebola mystery involving The Terror Brothers.

but aside from that, I thought it was quite well done.

Any heroics from Ryan are purely reactionary, he's not Bauer, Bond or Bourne and that's incredibly refreshing.

I’ve only watched 2 but really enjoying it, its got a new school coat of tv paint that adds film budgets but somehow seems a bit old school and cheesy somehow.

Don’t really know why but the whole first episode bit in the US army base gave me a distinct A Team vibe, despite not being A Team in story or level of violence. The base seemed a bit cheap and cheerful somehow and gave me 80s tv vibes
