What’s the film with the helicopters hovering above the road? That looks great.

It's the new Ryan Reynolds/Michael Bay film (same as the skyscraper flooding bit) that's on Netflix this month.

I guess it looks not bad, but with the rumour that Malik is playing Dr No and with Blofeld being in this too, I'm getting fed up with Craig's never ending storyline of "ah, you thought it was Blofeld that was behind Spectre. But before you found out Spectre was really Quantum, you thought it was the guy out of the Diving Bell and the Butterfly that was behind Quantum? Ahhh... but before that, you thought it was Le Chiffre was behind Quantum in Casino Royale... or was it Mr White?? Who's next in this never ending twist bringing out the old Bond cliches you love? Is Malik really Goldfinger and the main Bond girl is really Pussy Galore? Or let's have Malik as Dr No and the Bond girl Honey Ryder just to bring it all back to the start again, because we can't come up with anything new and people just want fan service. Look. Here's the Aston Martin DB5. With machine guns. Again."

Trying to connect everything together is just making the Bond world smaller. And more forgettable. Kind of like the new Star Wars films.

It's the new Aston, isn't it?

Its rear looks far too angular (and hence beautiful) to be modern surely? I openly admit that I know nothing about cars tho!

I think he's supposed to be in an electric car in this film, so I'm guessing it's their new electric supercar? (Not watched it yet though, will watch the trailer at home later)

It's an 80s V8 Vantage isn't it? Certainly looks like from the rear.

Yes, this, the one from the Living Daylights is also supposed to be back

That doesn't look bad but I still think they seem to make too much of bond's love life in all of Craig's movies. Wasn't the car crash and the sinking of venice all too do with whomever he fancied at the time? I know you can't have him just shagging everyone but going the other way and having him love every woman to death it's a bit odd too.

Or I may be misunderstanding the trailer of course.

I like the look of this but I haven't watched Spectre. I was unable to for a while and when I had the chance it had gotten a lot of bad reviews so didn't bother. I'd really enjoyed Skyfall so left it at that and going by this trailer it seems Spectre is integral to its plot.

So I'll need to watch Spectre before I see this. Suppose it can't be that bad.

I think it is the V8 Vantage from The Living Daylights (skis might be extra).

It's kind of ironic seeing as when the Aston Martin appeared in The Living Daylights, it had been 16 years since an Aston Martin had last been in a Bond film (1971's Diamonds Are Forever briefly has one). Now there's what, 4 or 5 per film?

Spectre is a contender for the absolute worst they've ever done, with the train fight being the only redeeming feature. Cautiously optimistic about this though, at the very least they appear to have ditched the overwrought, languid tone it had. Some really fun shots in the trailer.

I think Spectre was bad but nothing beats Die Another Day in the wretched, awfulness stakes. The stupid invisible car, Madonna 'acting' and the most eye-wateringly bad CGI shit-fest of Bond para surfing on a tea tray stretching the plausability so far he may has well of jumped over a fucking shark!

Trailer was great. Looking forward to the film.

Craig is closely behind Connery in my Bond ranking.

3rd and 2nd respectively behind Sir Roger?

Easily one of the worst Bond films ever made. It’s in the bottom three.

It looks like it will be a fine and fitting sequel to Spectre. Shite.

The best thing they could do is go back to Bond films that are self contained. Fuck any notion of a cinematic universe. Make each film feel like a one off. New villain. New crisis. Hell play around with the time period you set it in, just mix it up ffs.

I wish there was a rule that any actor could do only two two films tops. And every production should have a new director and crew. Bond desperately needs some new ideas. This trailer just looks like more of the same stale guff.

PB’s back catalog is shonky at best except, you know but damn is is starting to look good against Craig’s. At least his films were fun if ridiculous.
