Game haven't delivered my Mini NES or my additional controller. :(

 

To be fair to them it is probably more down to Royal Mail. Some thieving postal worker probably has my Mini NES on eBay right now rubbing their dirty little hands together at the thought of getting £100+ for it.

 

Game have told me to contact them on Thursday if it hasn't arrived. I fully expect to get fobbed off further, probably being told I have to wait 28 days or something stupid. Then chances are they will just cancel the order and refund as they have no stock.

 

Grrrrrrrr.

 

To be honest I am in a slight quandry over what to do if they do cancel/refund. Do I set aside the money for Switch instead? If Nintendo lower the price of the New 3DS like they have in the States (albeit that might be a Black Friday special, not sure?) then I would be tempted to update my 3DS XL.

My last 2 orders with GAME were Super Mario Maker and Starfox Zero special editions, pre-ordered for release. Neither turned up and I had to be refunded for both. I only managed to get Starfox because fortunately whomever preordered in my local store never collected it. Otherwise I would have missed out.

 

We never have anything go missing in the post here so I am cynical as to whether they ever dispatched them. I don't recall them even giving out tracking numbers either (I know that doesn't always happen). Either way I don't use them anymore but unfortunately they still have the occasional limited edition exclusive such as Starfox.

 

Hope you manage to get a mini NES soon.

Wasn't starfox one of the ones that had the delivery truck with a huge chunk of UK stock stolen?

Not sure if it works, but on the official nintendo shop if you search for "nintendo mini controller", when signed in, it shows a couple of options to add the console to your basket. If you click on them it returns you to the front page, but if you just add to cart it allows it. Might be worth trying, I suppose they'd just cancel it if they don't have any. (They blates do though!)

 

If you follow my link and then click on the little spyglass in the search box it MIGHT show them up. It's a bit twitchy but works sometimes.

It was reported to be, but never confirmed: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016-04-22-nintendo-games-grabbed-at-a14-services

 

I'm probably just being irrational but its a bit suspicious that the only two things I never received are Nintendo games (both LEs) from them.
