Although a lot of people have tried to tell me that I should name it after me/my gamertag/alias etc. to actually make it personal -- but I still feel like I should name the XBox itself, rather than just naming it after me, and this is reflected in my shortlist of favourite choices.

I will include a name option and another option I liked: 'insert coin' or 'insert credit' to signify its emulation credentials and usage. If you really HATE all the above options you can post other options like 'Moby Dick' -- which was only just edged out of my choices...

Actually, im pretty cheered up now, having just seen the last half of Dogtown and Z-Boys , which was fuckin awesome. I've never skateboarded in my life!

I don't know really, you've come up with some pretty wanky sort of ideas that make my toes curl in their extreme geektastic delirium.

Why not just get the serial number of it engraved, or don't you know it?

Well indeed, it was my favourite too, but in the previous thread there was no consolidated opinion...

I'm pleased too because I think I actually came up with it :rolleyes: -- though there were a lot of great suggestions. It IS as sad as Stiff_One suggested... and yet the forum has risen to the challenge and exceeded expectations :)

And yeah, I suppose it will be my long term MAME box, unless of course XBox 2 is just as easily chippable and has a hard disk -- but neither of those things are certain... I also don't think 'insert coin'/credit really harms the value too much if I don't keep it.

I presume most people prefer coin to credit, and I'm intrigued by Soong suggsetion of an (s) --- Hmmmmmm B)

It's an imported, 1 of a 1000, Japanese limited edition white xbox -- ENGRAVED in a fecking gothic cursive script (cos the Japanese LOVE that shit). You can't GET any more geeky than that, even if I had it engraved with I LOVE FRODO. In Klingon.

So I might as well go for something interesting/cool/geeky/amusing to me/whatever and not worry about how it makes me look... eh? :rolleyes:
