One-hit kills Symmetra if he gets close. Good job he's got very little chance of doing so if you're aware he's there.

really hoping he makes people stop picking fucking monkey.

I'll never stop playing Winston. He's my favourite.

He's a prick. I can usually take him once the shield generator is up, but that bubble makes me sigh every fucking time.

i love his ult, though - I fry up a nice new ult up after a good few seconds of microwaving him.

I think it's weird they actually did Doomfist, it was just a random name referring to a past hero in the first trailer that the community made a meme.

I'd prefer them to come up with a gameplay concept they liked first rather than be forced into designing something to pander.

Before the game launched Blizz/Uncle Jeff said they wouldn't be explicit about providing a backstory, they would drop hints and let the community talk about it and make their own conclusions. Potentially this would influence their latter development choices.

I think Doomfist was always going to happen as he was in the original trailer for the game. That the community proved so interested in him either solidified it or just made them happy about the choice they had made.

That sample turned out to be from an audio library that Blizz had bought.

Found this cool video about Overwatch's animation. I never really appreciated what a good job they do until I saw this. Some of the small details are very subtle but really quality, check it out:

Zenyatta is the worst fucking healer in the universe anyway.

I've started to use good ol' D.Va on Attack again, if only to placate the fuckwits who keep crying whenever I choose Sym. God, she's so unsatisfying to use still. There's no feeling that your enemy is properly shitting themselves when you attack them, unlike with Sym where you instantly become the focus of your enemy if you're on their point, because they'll be dead in seconds if they don't do something about you.

I might take a break from it for a little while - or until Doomfist comes out. I'm feeling insanely burned out, and my performance on PC over the last few days has been terrible.

It charges up twice - the second time delivering 120pts of damage a second. It stays that way as long as you keep locking on to people. It's basically Genji-ult slashes in beam form.

Combine that with turrets on a point, and you've got a fucking monster on your hands.

isn't her win rate lover 70%?

I have used her quite a bit, mainly on the first point of payload maps where the teleported can make a huge difference.  I have also had some success with assault maps if I can get my turretts onto a point and there is enough of my team there to distract the enemy.

I have not tried the "rambo" method yet though!

I only have an 80% win ratio with Symmetra this season. Sad times. Zenyatta is at 100%. The other supports are starting to struggle. Frankly, I'm all about Ying in Paladins at the moment. No Overwatch support hero can compare.

I won't be able to truly love Overwatch again until Jeff sees the light and rips her off.

The "rambo" Benny speaks of is only really valid when you have a functional team. Symmetra is genuinely useless if her team is potato-level, and they generally all turn to potatoes once you pick her on Attack. "You're throwing waaaaa!"

If they understand how useful she can be, though, you can cut the enemy team up hilariously. Stick turrets everywhere. EVERYWHERE. The dumber the place, the better. The best place? Enemy spawn. Gibraltar for some reason is the best for that, for attacking and defending. Knowing the squishies have been killed, and watching them run happily through the spawn door only to be ambushed by a carwash is hilarious every. single. time.

If you want to watch a pro Sym player, go watch just_stevo on Twitch. He even posted a full Bronze-to-GM Sym-only bunch of videos. He's also funny as fuck.

Also I just relapsed and had a greatly successful game on Anubis. I am beyond help.

Playing Paladins after Overwatch must be like going back to ATI once you've tried Nvidia.

I see your Nvidia McCree clip and raise you ATI Androxus.

It's like Overwatch but... not constantly infuriating and soul destroying.

It can make people absolutely paranoid, wondering if there's going to be another turret around the next corner. I love the concealed areas that only get activated when they run past, thus shooting them in the back. It's a good counter for Reinhardt's shield, too.

I usually stick them around spawn entrances, dropping back and planting more until I can buy a teleporter, then plopping that out of the way.
