What is spinning on your turntable?

Oh Danny Boy

I've been meaning to re-assess Sade. The mid teens me wrote her music off as wine bar townie fodder back in the day, my tastes have changed somewhat since then, however.

Got these at the first boot sale I’ve been to since the pandemic started.

Good shout owning Black Sheep on CD - the vinyl is just a single disc to cram in that album - mines warped to fuck too

I've still got it on vinyl from back in the day and picked up the CD from a charity shop. Dres has an album coming out soon with Stu Bangas that might be worth checking out. First single out this Friday.

edit: I'm enjoying how my sneaky CD inclusions are generating more discussion than the records I'm posting :D

Today's purchase - one of my favourite modern electronic artists.

Social Dissonance by Pye Corner Audio.

Bloody hell, I go on holiday for a week and he sneaks a new LP out! Thanks, ordered 🙂

It's not technically new, it's a live LP that was recorded in 2019 and originally released on cassette in 2020.

Still worth buying though, it's a great set.

I should really photograph them as I'm listening to them but this afternoon I went through:

Anthrax - Persistence of Time (the 4 disc remaster).

Motley Crue - Dr Feelgood

Vixen - Live Fire (I appreciate this one is of no interest to most).

On order via eBay or record labels:

Anthrax - Spreading the disease - Found for a not too mad price of £20 because the sleeve is battered (disc is fine apparently)

Faster Pussycat - Best of (22 re-release) - Price was a bit mad but it's a good collection of their less controversial stuff.

Type O Negative - Bloody Kisses (22 re-release due June/July)

Entombed - To Ride, To Shoot Straight and To Speak the Truth (Earache re-release due in June)

Wildhearts - P.H.U.Q. - (Round Records due late 22 but probably 23).

Now i'd jotted them all down, that is more than I planned on buying this year.
