Well that was suitably epic, although ironically one of the few fights I escaped from without a scratch! Thanks again to @Doctor Shark for sticking it out, as it's been fantastic. I've wanted to try D&D for years, and this has been a great introduction. Looking forward to Storm King's Thunder now!

That was crazy - thanks @Doctor Shark it's been a great adventure! 

It went well, then badly, then REALLY badly.. then we pulled it back just enough.. phew!

 

Loot was:

800sp -> 160 each

150gp -> 30 each

4x goblets @ 60gp value each..

Scrolls of Misty Step (teleport)  and Lightning Bolt..

'Hew' Battle axe +1 Inflicts max damage on plant creatures and wood..

crazy tense final fight brilliant job Doctor Shark and that was just from eharing snippets of it and frantically typing instructions to cast cure wounds

 

I think that is the most healing I have ever done...I did 2 guiding bolts but other than that ALL cure wounds and healing word AND used divine power to preserve life - wow such a big fight.

 

Really enjoyed it and thankyou for getting us into D&D (or reintroduced)

He didn't stick around enough to become lunch sadly(!)

Tried turning him into Kel'doran Fried Dragon, but the cooked bit was still attached when he left!

What are we doing with the goblets?  Sell and divide when we get somewhere.

 

Does anyone want Hew? Its worth keeping if we fight any plants so I'll take it if no one else wants it/can use it.

 

@Hexx can your cleric use a battleaxe?

@Doctor SharkYou don't happen to know where that map image above is from do you? My players are just on the verge of heading to that Tower and the official map is a little underwhelming, so I've been looking for a replacement without much luck...
