A US release is probably less likely than a UK one. SCEA are renouned for rejecting 'odd' looking games because they apparently do not fit in with the market they are aiming for. SCEA rejected Viewtiful Joe, Killer 7 and Metal Slug 5 to name just three (which happen to be the only three I know of, but still...).

It could happen still, but I wouldn't bet on it. We'll find out at E3, I guess.

The best bit of the soundtrack is how each song features the title track within it at some point (that being what you have in your head right now). Each song is completely different, yet they all manage to merge this little tune in perfectly.

The soundtrack is available to buy next month, incidently.

Two hours in, and this is just about one of the best things ever. Supposedly it doesn't last very long, which is a shame - but every second so far has been tremendous fun.

From what I've played of the demo, the controls are a bit wierd at first, but once you get used to it, it actually gives you more control over the character/ball than I expected.

And yeah, it's amazing. Especially the Katakana-speaking cool Alien king guy. B)

I'd like to see that too, so it can gather the same kind of following that Rez and Ico have, but to be honest, it seems pretty fucking unlikely.

Japan only, and no reason not to import if you have a chipped machine. It's without doubt one of the most instaly pleasurable gaming experiences I've had on the PS2. How well it'll last, I don't know (though the collecting aspect could take months), but for sheer stright out of the gate fun, there isn't much on the PS2 to compete.

Plus, it's utterly bonkers, which always wins points in my book.
