There’s no good way to play Katamari these days, so this is wonderful news. Katamari Forever on PS3 is the best version, but I’m not setting my PS3 up again.

I want the next Katamari game to start at a subatomic level, rolling around collecting electrons and neutrons. Then atoms. Then grains of sand on a beach. Then at the end rolling up the multiverse and time itself.

Looks outstanding. Not a huge proponent of remakes, but the kids will love this, and it's a perfect Switch game.

Katamari is in dire need of a remake though, as it’s difficult to play any incarnation these days, and there’s nothing playable on current consoles other than Katamari Forever on PS Now.

Yeah, I still have a copy of Beautiful Katamari in the hope it will be backwards compatible one day. I found every item in that, spent tens of hours
