Tales of Berseria - PS4 and Steam

I got a copy of this yesterday as a Valentine's Day present. It's on the backburner at the minute as I'm halfway through Zestiria and Dragon Quest VIII. And with Zelda out next month, god knows when I'll get round to it. 

 

Still, an awesome Valentine's Day present.

I held off on getting this one waiting for the price drop... Still hasn't fully happened but I picked it up nontheless.

 

I'm a good chunk of the way through now. Just been through a teleport but I'm very impressed, certainly one of the stronger titles in amongst the more recent games. Don't think i'll put it down much until completion!

This just dropped in price to £20 at GraingerGames (£23 new). Now I need to decide whether to dump P5 off before I play this or carry on in the hopes it gets better.

I much prefer the Tales series, just so light hearted and that. I mean the story starts out a bit darker than the usual games but it's right up my street Most definately an improvement on Zestiria which I couldn't force my way through. (So if you have played that and enjoyed it you will definately enjoy this). I'm not as big of a fan of Persona, I'll pick it up at some point but I'm in no rush. The series is very much a form of mustard, you love or hate it I think.

I bought it yesterday for £32 from cex too. Time to return that

 

This isn't the thread to go into detail on it, but Person 4 Golden is one of my favourite games (and probably my favourite JRPG) and P5 isn't a patch on it (based on 30 hours I've played so far). I've been waiting for so long to play P5 that I feel like I'd regret giving up on it, but at the same time it's really hard to muster any enthusiasm to continue playing it. It's even harder to do so when I see that CEX will give me £23 profit for the Take Your Heart Edition I bought. 

 

Edit: Jesus, I'm on the third out of eight dungeons in Persona 5.
