I was wondering where they came from.  I've spent most of this morning doing strikes, challenges and an exotic quest with @hobo

 

Great fun.

 

We are probably ready to have power-level wise to have a go at the nightfall.

I really like it so far, I think I've only done about 1/3 of it though so that could change. I can see how some people might not like it but its surprised me so far in that it seems proper end game content and not vastly simplified which I was worried they might do. It will be interesting to see if it holds up over time and how well guided games works in helping friendless casuals enjoy it...

 

The scale of it is proper amazing though.

You're very welcome to join the Xbox clan; you could struggle to find a game with clan members but we do have a couple PS4 members.

 

There are two other PS4 splinter clans here and here.

I too need the NF, but am only 145. I'm free this afternoon/ early evening.

 

@df0 I'm yet to test the voice comms on the headphone I bought on your recommendation!

Trials is up. Countdown, unfortunately, was hoping for survival. Expect the raid will eat up this weekend anyway. 

 

Loadouts are locked, which I think is fantastic, though Reddit's moaning about it already. Makes you think about team comp going in, and once in it's a game of adaptation, working around your team's toolset as it relates to the opposition. More of a fighting game, in other words. Great stuff.

You form a fireteam and try to win eight matches straight. Opposition gets tougher each time - if you're on seven wins, you'll play another team on seven wins. Loot is excellent and tailored for pvp. 

 

Not sure about the intricacies of it. In the first game you could get boons that ignored your first loss and let you start with a win, so you only need to win six and can take a loss. And there were bounties that meant you could get good loot without making it all the way to the lighthouse. No bounties in D2, obviously. Assume there are vendor rep tokens though.

Anyone about on PS4 later looking to do any strikes, patrols, public quests, adventure/mission/quest things? 

 

Got to level 230 ish so not ready to do any big boy activities just yet but bored of running around on my own!
