Owning all good N64 games

Recommended Posts

I bought an N64 a few months ago so that I could catch up on some classics I'd missed, particularly Majora's Mask, Conker and such. Anyway, I've been finding good games periodically and it seems i've run out of "classics". Maybe you could help out, BEARING IN MIND i hate sports games and racing games (hence no MK64). This is what I have so far.

Goldeneye

Banjo Kazooie

Blast Corps

Mischief Makers

Lylat Wars

Perfect Dark

Conker's Bad Fur Day

Majora's Mask

Donkey Kong 64

Wetrix

Kirby 64

Worms Armageddon

Mario 64

Pokemon Snap

Paper Mario

-I'm hopefully getting Banjo Tooie in a trade

-I have 2 editions of Ocarina already on the cube

-Don't even mention Mario Party.

What is missing? Hmmm.

Space Station Silicon Valley -- DMA platform puzzler with dark humour

Rocket Robot on Wheels -- platform game with incredible engine & physics (Half Life 2 without the hype)

Jet Force Gemini -- colorful, brash shoot 'em up

Hybrid Heaven -- your mileage may vary; semi-turn based beat em up, 3D exploration adventure set in underground space ship

Ogre Battle 64 -- NTSC only. Get a Passport converter and beg, borrow, steal--hell, murder even--to get your hands on this Strategy Game in the Ogre Battle saga. One of the best games ever made.

Also, I've heard so much good stuff about Beetle Adventure Racing that it's on my pick up when I see it list.

Mario Golf 64 - The epitome of arcade golfing.

Shadowman.

You might be right on Mario Golf, but Shadowman sucks the big one. Nice atmosphere, nice storyline but a lousy game.

Yup.

Samey Deadside locations killed this for me.

I've been here before. No I haven't, oh, hang on, I think I have. No, no this doesn't look familiar. I've got enough dooberrys to get through the thingy gate, where the fuck is it?

Happy landing Shadowman cart.

Oops, forgot one:

Yoshi's Story

Ignore the naysayers. This is brilliant. Constantly inventive, beautiful to look at... pure fun, without the intimidating challenge of the other, more "epic" Mario/Yoshi games.

I enjoyed playing it, not Nintendo's finest hour by a long shot, but still fun. Loved the 'patchwork' look.
