Have you played Yakuza Like a Dragon or Nier Automata?

I loved Yakuza Zero when I played that last year and was then thinking of playing through all of them in order.  At the mo I am probably most of the way through Yakuza 1 so not sure I'll actually do the full set.  Jumping to Like a Dragon might be a good idea as I understand it is a different, new, storyline as well as being turn based now?  Nier Automata looks good too.  Thanks for the suggestions

Windjammers 2 better have people playing online.

I hope it's as good as the first and they have not fucked it up. Could be a GOTY contender for me.

There is a fair bit, but IIRC it's all "bollocks" and "shit". No fucks. It's a weird choice to have profanity in the dialogue, because it would otherwise be ideal for kids - it's gently-paced, easy, and has a fairly uncomplicated story. Probably fine for older kids, but I wouldn't let my six year old play it.

It's a bizarre choice. When I heard the first few I just thought it totally went against the whole style of the game. It's not needed at all. And that's coming from someone who swears multiple times in each sentence.

I love swearing but swearing is much, much worse when it's entirely out of the rest of the 'aesthetic' of the game. It's usually done terribly in games because they're written by one of the development staff who fancies themself as Irvine Welsh or some shit and so they throw swearing about with abandon not understanding when it's needed and when it's not.

It's quite infrequent too, so it's extra jarring when it crops up. I got the sense that the developers were going for something a bit like Tacoma, where you have mundane situations in an extraordinary environment, i.e. people moaning about being domestic dramas or their mortgage while on a mysterious alien planet, but the overall vibe felt more like a kids' game, what with the wacky robot and all.

It's basically the same game as the first.  I played the beta for a while.  I would have rather they'd moved away from the original a little more.  Slightly more zoomed out, maybe, to make use of bigger courts and mix things up a bit.

I just had a look at Pupperazzi's Steam page. Looks excellent, and I'll definitely be giving it a go!

Obv Hitman Trilogy and Windjammers 2 is already excellent content, I've already played the original version of Danganronpa and it's also great (it's an an acquired taste though, unashamedly fanservicey and anime as fuck).

Death's Door and Taiko are also great surprises - Don't know how I'll get on with them gameplay-wise, but for the price of the subscription, why not give them a go, eh?

Death's Door has the structure of a Soulslike with Zelda gameplay. It's ace.

Not the biggest story around at the mo, but still pretty significant.

How many subscribers do we think it will have in 5 years, could it double in that time? Game pass is only getting better all the time

40-50 million by end of 2023. By that time CoD will be full exclusive (The deal closes on June 2023)

Holy shit, I have been thiiiiiiiis close to buying Death's Door on Switch this month. No longer! I'm really looking forward to Windjammers 2.

I literally downloaded it this morning. Pretty sure Switch eShop is NO REFUNDS under any circumstances.

I had some fun with a couple of friends previewing Anacrusis a couple of weeks back but that fun was purely from the chat and messing about. It's less disappointing than B4B as there was no hype but it is just so mediocre. The gunplay is underwhelming and the levels too long and padded out. Plus, the whole Flasher effect can fuck right off. Maybe they can add some extra stuff but I reckon this early build will have screwed the pooch for them.

Death's Door is worth paying for. Besides you supported a small Dev. That's commendable.

Isn't playing it on Gamepass supporting them as well? Honest question by the way. I don't really know how they get paid in a Gamepass deal.

It depends if they got a lump sum or they signed up to a per-download basis I think. There's no way to tell really. I mean either way they have money.

I just want them to put the 360 version of ME2 so I can complete my Insanity playthrough, because otherwise I have to try and track down my original disc copy (somewhere in a box in the UK) or buy a digital copy. I wish I didn't have this completionist obsession but there you go.

You do realise all three 360 Mass Effects are already available on the service? They are part of EA Play which is included in the Game Pass subscription.

Amd it's been on there for aaaaages now :D

Fair enough. So I need to fire up the EA Play app for ME2?

I'm confused as to why ME and ME2 show up in the normal Game Pass list of games but not ME2. Odd.
