Guilty Gear Strive and that Blazblue Tag whatever coming to Game Pass too (1:15:33). Strive's Spring 2023, which is the one I'd be looking at - I own it on PC, but praying the network communication doesn't mean starting it up takes several minutes to get into the main menu on X.

You always could.

Yeah, I get Ubisoft are dicks, but you can't not buy them if you want to play them.  I did the virtue signalling thing of taking a shite on Ubisoft in posts but then also having my cake by buying the ultimate editions when they tanked in sale prices. Think I had Origins for $17 and Odyssey for $20.

So let me continue doing the thing where I give other people shit for their choices but continue to make poor choices myself by playing future AC games on Game Pass only, wherein I imagine they get less $ per unit than had I bought them in a sale.

I wasn't even referring to that  It was meant as a jab at the neverending identikit collectathons that the series became. I don't mind what you play or don't play :)

(Give Yakuza a try tho!)

Xbox Series S?

Otherwise it always makes me laugh when people say they want to buy games and not support the company (not ubisoft specific) but struggle to do that! Just buy second hand then they don't get a penny and you can enjoy away

New Turnip Boy heading to Game Pass.

Fuga: Melodies of Steel coming today.

That's great news!!

Fuga has been on my want list for some time, and I really enjoyed Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion with it (for me) being rather funny :).

Ooh that is a lot of stuff to keep me busy. Loved Ni No Kuni 2 so playing the first one is a nice surprise, P5R next month too, Deathloop, Plague Tale, Pentiment. AC: Odyssey is my fave in the series too. And Fuga looks weird and compelling. Damn, well played MS

They really did get it out almost exactly after the year exclusive period!

Deathloop?

They wouldn’t have been able to advertise it while it was still in the Sony deal, so they were bound to shout about it now.

Maybe they could get the devs to come out and say that the extra year allowed them to get deathloop to as close to their origin vision as possible, and that it’s the best version of their game.

you know, opinions, in exchange for money?

I don’t really know what you’re on about @SeanR

Was it a bit of a mess? Were the devs moaning during the Sony exclusivity period that they never got chance to finish it properly? Has it had a big overhaul in the last year?

I can’t say I’m all that fussed by it personally, so I don’t know much about it, but I’ll give it a go on Gamepass. Nothing to lose is there.

Yeah, you know how it is:

Big marketing push for a nothing game. Like the average Xbox exclusive.

[edit] I’d go as far as describing it as the Sunset Overdrive of PS5 games.

I don’t think it’s had any special treatment, has it? Just seems like the standard Gamepass push that all games get when they hit the service.
