Also Grounded. Completely forgot about that, too. Especially now worlds can persist beyond the host computer being online, that was always a pain.

This year, apart from stuff I’ve booted up once to get achievements, the Gamepass games I’ve played are:

 

Doom Eternal - £3 at CEX

Vampire Survivors - £3.99 new

 

Paid for the DLC’s myself.

 

Not sure this Gamepass Ultimate is quite paying for itself yet.

Hmmm... Is there an easy way to see what I've actually played over the last little while. Wondering if it's worth the money now.

It's almost impossible to keep up with how many good games have been released on GamePass this year, so I guess unless you're not actually interested in playing many different games you're probably doing it wrong.

My uncle works for Xbox, apparently they’re having discussions with SouljaBoy to buy them out. Phil Spencer will be replaced by Dave “Games Animal” Perry, while PR will be handled by Tommy Tallarico…

I think it's 2 games right? I'll leave the quality judgement to others but game every 3 days is a pretty good rate.

I count somewhere around 50 great games in that list that I know are good including at least a dozen absolute bangers. And if you had time to complete all of those in the year I'd be impressed.

£37 x 3 + £1 = £112

£112 / 36 = £3.11 per month

 

That's what it cost me a few days ago.

If you can use Turkey it'll be much cheaper to buy 3xTurkish Gold and then convert to Ultimate than anything else.

While looking into this I saw some posts on HotUKDeals saying to do the trick in the first post but buy Xbox Live Gold 12 months Xbox Live Key TURKEY and use a VPN to activate it, negating the need to ask my mate to pay with his Turkish card.

 

What's stopping people doing that and buying the Turkish 12 months for £25.89, rather than the UK one for £37.99?

I wonder if we need a new thread for gamepass games?

 

I always get excited when I see the thread bumped and then curse the whole of mankind when I see it’s people asking (fair enough) questions about doing the upgrade deal. 
 

Not anyone’s fault, it’s just the nature of a complicated deal that needs a guide and the way games on the service drop out of the blue. But it’s annoying they share the same thread.

That would be ideal, because it would be easy to see who last commented on it working. I think we tend to post in the nearest megathread, though.

 

Some of these games arguably deserve a thread though.
