Donut County

I almost decided that it wasn't for me with the opening narrative. It's delightfully stupid though, and the levels themselves are lots of fun.

Definitely recommended as one to squeeze in before the end of the month.

Another one who agrees on Donut County. It's fun and super easy to complete in one sitting.

Telling Lies was OK, ended up finishing it with a guide ultimately, but thought Her Story was better.

Telling Lies is ludicrously tedious, with Immortality being a drastically better version of a similar "hyper-media" game.

They both have really compelling mid-points where the loose threads all start to come together, but Immortaility is just better in every way.

I do think there's a whole load of emperor's new clothes with both games, where the unusual way these stories are presented and the fact that YOU have to unravel them is doing a fucking lot of the heavy lifting...as they're both quite dumb on reflection. I have a love / hate relationship with both games.

I need to go back to Immortality, It was just getting interesting with some of scenes I was revealing and something else took my attention.

Looks like i will skip Telling Lies then.

I did buy Her Story for steam deck for a couple quid. Heard thats amazing and the best interactive movie game.

Most on here do seem to really like it but I wasn't a fan. It also has irritating one-sided conversations that don't even make sense in the world the game places you in - it's a police interview, what sense does it make to only have the lady talking (especially when there are pauses where she is being asked something, yet you can't hear it.)

I didn't think the story was all that good either, if you hit upon the a key plot point too early (which happened to me) then it destroys the mystery.

Its worth trying if you've never experienced this type of game though, because it is a different approach. From my brief dalliance with Immortality, that is better in that you are an observer of completed work, so you don't have the one-sided chatter to try and adjust to.

The main problem with Telling Lies is that I can't play it without singing 'Telling Lies, Telling Lies, Telling Sweet Little Lies'.

I’ve had this in my head non-stop since hearing about it leaving Game Pass.

I've started Telling Lies and I'm not sure what the game is supposed to be, is finding new clips the entire game or is there something else?

I'm enjoying the story stuff and it's very different but I'm not sure if I'm missing some important mechanic.

It's all about watching the clips and finding pieces of info that you can search to find more clips. You're piecing together the story from this in your own way. If there's anything bigger, I haven't got to it yet but I'm enjoying it so far just doing this, even if it seems very divisive on here.

That's what I've been doing, I just wasn't sure if I was missing some other aspect of the game.

I've said this a dozen times at this point but this is the sort I love to see on GamePass as you don't have to factor in "value" while playing a game.

Is Crackdown 3 on pc gamepass? It’s only available to stream for me, not to download on pc. Just wondering if it’s some Japan nonsense or if it’s the same elsewhere.

I can't check on PC, but in my game pass app on my mobile Crackdown 3 is there when I filter for PC games.

Thanks. That’s annoying. I know it didn’t review well but it was one of the games I’d been looking forward to trying.

Yeah it’s definitely on Gamepass PC in the UK. I played it on there on release and as it’s first party it hasn’t been removed.

Have you looked for Riot Act 3? The first two games were called Riot Act in Japan
