Thruxton, back again and the only change to the circuit is to Church corner. There's no gravel there, just grass imo. Although they have at least stopped a car from heading off into the woods like they used to.

MSV need to buy it up, place is an utter toilet.

No Dudley, it really is a shithole. Almost every other facility they race at has moved on in leaps and bounds in the ten years I've either been to them or seen them on the TV. Except Thruxton, which remains stuck in the dark ages. Even when they try and fix stuff they manage to royally balls it up.

I would imagine that the curfew in the village on racing is holding anyone back from investing. I don't want to see it go, but for fucks sake spend some money on it. Snetterton has massive banks built round any area adjacent to the circuit to contain the noise. I'm not a fan of Dr Palmer after feeling that he fouled his way through Justin Wilsons investment shenanigans, but when it comes to the circuits he owns, you cannot fault it.

If I'd paid money to go and watch that today, I'd be fucking steaming.

Great, a famous name trolling around at the back of the field.  At least it's more publicity for what is an amazing series.

I really enjoyed the racing at the weekend but mainly because I wasn't watching live, so I could skip the red flags.  The circuit definitely needs some investment and Church is a death trap.

He does have those weekends more often than the other drivers. I'm surprised Sheddon has gotten away with taking Josh Cook out of the race, Cook didn't brake test him and he just rammed into the back of him taking him out of the race. Lots of talk about driver standards today and for the touring cars at least the track looks very narrow with not much run off if there is an accident.

Oulton is a bit narrow for those boys to be going round, I did think the last race was going to get red flagged after they re-arranged the tyre barrier again, but it's an msv circuit and not that toilet thruxton so.... ;)

And weirdly they've dragged Josh Cook back from Maximum motorsport.  There's something else going on there because no way would I be swapping the competitive Focus for the ageing MG unless I had to.

Maximum can just run Stewart Lines, so that's the TBLs protected.

Well he left because he didn't have the budget.  And indeed it seems Lloyd has left because he didn't have the budget.

Given there aren't exactly a billion Josh Cook sponsors on the Ford, I've no idea what the hell is going on here.

Oh yeah I forgot to share another lovely discovery.

The lead of AmD Essex is a bit of a wanker

Who also blindly shares Leave.EU and DailyMail links as the gospel truth.

Shame, used to like that team.

Oh dear, grids going to be a bit light after today.....

Having been overtaken during a quad bike race recently when a red flag was out, some of these wankers need a good talking too. Seems to be fairly common across all disciplines to completely ignore the flags.

Driving standards have been an issue for a while but that's crazy and it did even show how Luke Davenport's Ford ended up with a huge impact damage on the side of it. Should make the start of the coverage on ITV4 tomorrow interesting.

Latest update is that Luke Davenport and Jeff Smith are still in induced coma, and judging by the list of injuries they've suffered I can't see either one of them getting back in a car this year. That is of course if they pull through from this as it stands. Pretty grim.
