Night trap 25th anniversary edition

Recommended Posts

I'm buying both anyway, obviously, but is there some difference between the two physical copies they show at the end, apart from a different colour stripe?

@Oz It's coming to Xbox One, as well.

Updated! I will buy and play at nearly any price. I might get all versions. I have all the nostalgia for this. One of the few things I had for my Sega CD. Yes it was shit. But that is what is so good about it.

Sweet. Though I'm not looking forward to having to get this off an eBay reseller. (As I'm not sure if you can buy from Limited Run games in the UK)

If anything, it'll give me a reason to further bury my 3DO in my console graveyard.

It looks like interlaced videotape, so not really HD. Not a lot they can do about it if it was shot on tape.

No need to merge the threads then. The wait continues for you @deKay ;)

I never had enough money for a Mega CD, so all I've ever known of Night Trap is the ~30 seconds of clips in this utterly amazing Mega CD promotional video that came on a VHS attached the cover of some magazine or other (Sega Power? Mean Machines Sega) and which I watched at least once a week until it broke:

After a lot of deep digging I think I found the original thread you were asking for Dekay. Was this it?

The video quality isn't bad, well at least compared to the mega cd version (which i still have!).

I did play the PC version a few years back and generally it looked nice.

didn't every version besides mega cd end with the same ending though? Also the mega cd had sega stuff in it and a angry man shouting at you when you failed (like the majority of mega cd FMV games - wtf was that all about?!)
