Added the GBA games FF IV-VI, Metroid Fusion and Zero Mission, Tactics Ogre and Tales of Phantasia and I done adding games to the system. How do you install games on Retroarch? Is it just the same as Snes games? I'd quite like advanced wars on there.

ryodi
It's the same way you add SNES games you just need to add --retroarch at the end of the command line.

Dudley
Virtualbox is still free I believe and if you can retrieve any windows DVD it'll give you 90 days to activate it. It's hassle I grant you, but it's more than possible if you got a free afternoon.
Protocol Penguin
I didn’t even know that Macs could have Windows installed on them, TBH. Not something I’d personally ever do with mine, as I lack the level of skill required. Guess I’ll have to leave my Mini ‘vanilla’ – shame, as I liked the idea of having a mini box on which I could install most of my SNES/SFC collection for easy access. Fitzcarraldo
I love tennis games and it annoys me that there isn't a Virtua Tennis or Top Spin on the current gen consoles. I'm even more annoyed that Super Tennis passed me by during my childhood - what a game! It has so much depth and the timing aspect to it is incredibly engaging. I just wish I had people to play with as I imagine it's even better against people. It's genuinely as good as any tennis game I've played. I still don't know how to properly serve and found this: I'll never learn all of that. Edit: I do have a complaint, actually. I don't like that you sometimes can't see the bottom of the court. I'm not sure if that's the ROM or what, but it is unfortunate.
Popular Post Meka
I don't understand Super Mario Kart. Spoiler I purchased it on the Wii U 3 years ago and my TV almost didn't survive the play through. Now I have this mini and the only game I've given any attention to is SMK and I've played through it TWICE in one week with equal frustration. It throws so much bullshit at you, so much random fucking annoying stupid no sense bullshit. I hate it. The other night, I spent about an hour just grinding my way through the 150cc Special Cup. Toward the end of my run I was constantly on top until Rainbow Road then I'd just fuck up. I was squished, flying off the track, getting bumped off the track, getting hit by mushrooms, slipping on bananas, running out of coins and spinning out - just burning through continues. Fuck this shit game. I lost patience for the whole thing and on my last go I get a 4th place in the first race, 2nd in the next, then another 2nd, then a 1st. No chance of placing anywhere given my form on the last track. So Rainbow fucking shit annoying pisswank Road, I somehow find myself ahead at the first corner. 4 laps of Peach and Jnr snapping at my exhaust and constantly throwing shit at me, I can hear little annoying fucking Yoshi somewhere in the mix too and Luigi activating his bullshit invincibility and the Thwomps seems to be aiming specifically for me but fuck, it's the final lap and I'm still ahead. My heart is racing like it wants to escape my chest, I'm sweating like the guy from airplane, the controller is slipping from my grip, I start misjudging every turn and I'm hopping all over the place but fuck it, I'm there, I cross the line and I win the fucking race and I'm top of the podium. It's the best Mario Kart, it really is, I love it. Think I'll play through again tomorrow night.

GnG is tough, but very do-able if you practice. Games were definitely harder back then anyway, so it's not the big leap in difficulty that would get comparing it to a game today. Has anyone here tried Space Ace for the SNES? I don't think it's possible to complete that. Absolutely ridiculous. Even using save states I struggle. Goose
Anyone had any of the original games crashing? I reckon we’ve added about 15 games so at the wildest estimate we can’t have more than 40 on there. But today my wife was playing Super Mario World and the game just locked up. It let her reset back to the main selection hub/menu and play something else but SMW itself stopped dead.
