SNES Mini

I wonder if this one will be DLC'able, I'd like to see a few more games in the future.

The nes and famicom mini was hackable to add games so it's possible this will be the same.

I'm on board with a gameboy remake as well as an n64 one with wifi so we can play multiplayer online and the ability to use 4 player local. We can dream.

Same here. I presume it'll change at some point. Although some people have pointed out it's a separate listing and speculated that Amazon might use that to get around the price match? I doubt it tho, let's see what happens.

You gotta be fast guys!

Says the guy who got his Mini NES 6 months late for twice the price.

These sold out in like 5 minutes half way through a work day and, frankly, whilst I'm still hopeful of finding one at all you posting how you're so benevolent as to sell your mate a second for only an extra £50, with sage advice to "be fast guys"... I don't know man, seems pretty shitty.

Was going to keep one sealed and play the other one but my best mate was too slow, so he's having it off me. Only charging him an extra £50. He's well chuffed, but that's what mates are for I suppose.

I really hope that's some humour that's gone over my head.

I gave him and my other mates the heads up as soon as I ordered mine. I could easily make £200 just selling the pre-order never mind the console.

I wasn't in a rush for the NES until they were stopped, I knew I had to get it ASAP before the scalpers bumped the price up more. £99 is a fair price. I've still got it sealed, probably wait until it's like £500 and then sell it on. I'm more of a SNES guy.

Everyone seems quick to give out at Nintendo for "limited supply" but just look at the internet over the last 24 hours.

People are hoovering these up just to sell a second, or more, for profit. I and I'm sure many others just want a cute little Mario/Earthbound box. I got my Mini NES on pre-order with no issues, it's now a real shame it turned out as limited as it did in my opinion, because its created this insane dash to buy multiple consoles this time around.

Also please don't give out about scalpers when you are literally one. Either you're happy with people capitalising on demand or you're not.

SNES Classic isn't a human right.

Scalpers provide a service, if anything, Nintendo are to blame. If it's limited, they should bump the price up.

IMO £199 is a better price and maybe have 30-40 games instead. This should be a premium product for the fans, not hipsters and hangers on.

This is some of the stupidest shit I've read on the forum. You're not including 30-40 games, you could give a better service by lowering the price, and you're purposefully buying up units which makes it harder to get for everyone else.

You don't get to create the problem, charge friends and strangers to fix it, and then claim you're doing everyone a favour.

I had to pay slightly over retail price for my mini nes, hopeful that my Nintendo order for the snes mini comes through.

Will keep an eye out on other sites like Amazon etc & place a pre-order to offer it here to anyone who has missed out.

If anyone has a spare pre-order (and doesn't want to charge me £50 "mates rates" for the privilege), then please consider me!

I've missed out by minutes both times Amazon UK were accepting orders, and my 16 year-old self still needs to complete Secret of Mana after the battery died in my US import cartridge, taking my save file with it.

I think it's quite easy here to jump on the bandwagon here and post and use the c word as that was my initial thought too, then i actually stopped and pondered and it came to me that there are people out there that think along those lines and think it is ok to make a quick £50 on a 'mate'. I'm so glad i don't have it in me to be like that.

The human race is a fucked up thing sometimes.

As someone who missed out on the nes, and looks like im missing out on the snes mini too, posts like the one from "probotector" really do annoy me.

Didnt want the product, couldnt care less about it, only purchased it to stop others from getting it and selling it for a profit in a few years.

Gamers at rllmuk are a community, and doubly so for the reto community here, and this sort of thing makes me love it less.

Its not a quick 50, they are adding a zero to that.

If someone had paid £50 for a nes mini, and they sell it for £60 or £70 then fair enough. But they are sitting on them, releasing tyhem slowly and aiming for £500.

Its like debeers and diamonds.
