What Steely said.

Fallen Prospect is pretty accurate :(

Notice how he gave all us lot crappy names and the 2 players he picked straight away in the draft got far better ones. We were just the guys to make up the numbers for @Jamin Tempted to return the favour and score a few own goals and ruin his chances of winning the league again to get my own back

Haha I'm sure our main striker Steely is delighted with his "2 yard goal machine" title.

I need two volunteers for match reporting duties - anyone? Just means getting the HT, FT scores, screengrabs of the stats, etc.

I was a bit useless with it last season (better than you mind considering your still missing a few  ) but you can put me down as one, just make sure to give me the heads up before a match that you want me to record them :)

Yeah I'll be better this season, for some reason I thought someone had volunteered to do them (I think because I forgot 2 weeks, and then they were magically done), so switched off the rest, only to be told they hadn't been

It'll only be if I'm not online. Cheers Luseth appreciated!

Right boys, vague team sheet for tonight. I'll probably not be online after 5pm until just before 10pm so hence this is going up early.

Have spoken to most of you regarding positions - either last night on mic or PM. Gerry and Alfromsleep sounds like a bone crunching all Scottish centre-back partnership from the early 1980s, and I have confidence in both of your abilities. Positional play is more important than anything else, remembering the hoof if you're even slightly under pressure. Feel free to pass it back to GK at any time - I'll be ready.

Keep your line with each other as a priority - only step out and break defensive line at the last minute if you're exposed. Both CBs I'd recommend be about 6 foot in height and have all the pace and defensive / strength traits on.

Big emphasis on Kriess to sit back tonight please mate - pressure ball runners, I'm not sure how much the RDM randomer will cover you. Luseth is good at coming back on defence so that'll be gratefully received.

Forward players - Steel and Jordz obvs drift wide / inside as you see fit. Both of you are mint in the air so early crossing from Luseth / myself is always a decent option if you have space. Mainly though we want quick X passing triangles from the forwards, not holding onto it too long and don't be afraid to shoot early doors if you're in the pocket on the edge of the box.

It's only the cup but we might as well play to win and see how we are vs the other teams.

See you chaps at 10ish, remember to add my USA account - JaminTasticUSA if you haven't already. If you've already requested I shall accept in a bit and you should be able to get into the club (I think it's RPL City, but it might be RPL City v2).

Lads.

Pissed off to miss game one, but the two matches we played afterwards were pretty solid, so well done all, especially considering we had a CDM randomer and a new CB pairing.

Well done boys, let's pencil in practice for next week - Wed at 10pm any good for anyone?

I'll also be on tomorrow (Fri) evening if anyone is about then.

Should be about for a few hours tonight if people are about. Get the praccy team up a few divisions so we can play some teams that are a bit more testing ^_^

Game 1 was dissapointing. We created a few chances. I just think when it came to games 2 & 3 with you about @Jamin it's that little bit of confidence having you behind us and organisation that we needed :) That said I thought once we got going it went quite well especially defensively.

Wed should be good for me btw

No worries Jordz cheers for the headsup.

I had a mysterious one second button delay on FIFA all day on Friday and on Saturday morning which has put me off posting, but hopefully it's magically cleared up by this week. Is anyone about for practice tonight or Wednesday from 10pm?
