Gonna try and watch the film before the review. They said on their patreon they both recommend it.

If you're a fan of film technique, you'll like this. If you're looking for horror, it's not really that. About halfway through the film you can see where it's going, and it doesn't deviate. It's an exercise in style and atmosphere really.

I couldn’t get all the way through it. Some amusing moments but I do agree with Mike when he half-jokingly said that they’re running out of quality ‘good-bad’ tapes and are down to the dregs.

Their nostalgic mention of the glorious travesty that was Rem Lazar only seemed to hammer it home to me.

These best of the worst videos have become too long for me. An hour and forty minutes?! Now, you might say that more show is a good deal, but I think things definitely lose momentum when you slide past an hour. Just under that is the sweet spot, and the point at which I turned this one off.

Suicide Squad video was pretty bad, far too large a proportion was taken up with a not particularly funny Covid skit and then it felt like they barely talked about the film itself and was mainly Mike waxing on about minor superheroes, a podcast he listened to and making his own superhero up.
