Well I was joint first for approximately 30 minutes. Then hit a -11 on vortex valley and dropped my handicap!

I had a round on Kanaloa Beach that was looking good for a while, then I fucked up and ended up +1 for the 18 from a -5. Didn't even think about how it would affect my ranking in this. Now I am wondering if I should hold off playing any more

 

I won't, because this game is just too addictive.

I didn’t want to mention the handicap thing, I was waiting to see who noticed. However, the handicap value is also affected by others so even if you did try hold out for a week - it can be impacted by others as everything is set up to auto adjust too. 

 

In addition, I won’t be taking the final standings into account until next weekend anyway and I have the ability to override everything too.

I was only kidding about holding out. I know I'll likely not finish in the top two anyway, so my best bet is to play and level my character for future events anyway. I think my handicap has yoyo'd between -3 and -4 the last couple of days as it is.

Barring an amazing score or some handicap fluctuations, it looks like @bradigor and @spanx will be jostling it out for second place this week. 

 

Just in case - could you folks tentatively arrange to do a match room with the same rules applied please? Sudden death scenario, whoever gets the better score on any given hole wins and therefore qualifies. 

 

If anyone has a better suggestion for if people are tied, let’s me know!

A respectable -7 after a couple fo rushed rounds before BAP last night, I can get double figures I reckon, I was a bit unlucky.  I don't think my handicap should be -5 though.  I'll put some better scores in this weekend to sort my handicap out!

Hahaha, so @Theholyhogg improving his scores has put me and @spanx into 1st and 2nd. I have spent a while trying to improve my -10 for last couple of days and not doing so. Came to check if I had dropped yet and saw that.

Been busy this week so not had much time for golfing (sad times) but just put in a quick -7 and updated some scores in the ladder so I'm current standing on a pretty average -11.

 

Not sure I'll have any time to try and improve it but next week! Next week I can hopefully spend more time playing... and will probably still end up being average

I have to agree with Hoggy though, there’s a handful of RGA scores that have an inflated Ladder handicap. Not the end of the world because things will slowly but surely iron out.

 

Again, for next week’s challenge, I’ll try to get it up tomorrow night/Monday AM at the latest. Please be patient as it’s freshers week which means I’ll keep getting pestered!
