About your levels, I wouldn't worry about it beyond 270, because you can do just about everything at that level including the raid.

Just enjoy the game modes with friends. Strikes are great fun and there's always that slim chance of an exotic.

Who's up for having a go at the raid this week? I'm around most nights but I was thinking starting Tuesday or Wednesday night from about 10pm.

 

I presume most of us haven't attempted it yet so should be fun/incredibly frustrating. I'm not sure what level you all are but I believe you need to be a minimum of 260 or so to do it, you also need to have unlocked Leviathan by completing the strikes milestone (I think).

I'm up to the boss with my group so can't join this Tues or Wed. But other nights definitely.

I started this at the weekend, my god it's good isn't it? The shooting is just top notch, the only thing that comes close to it is popping Grunts heads back on Halo. So so satisfying. I'm at work today but I wish I could be at home powering through more.

 

Anyway I've done 4 single player missions (don't really understand the story, even if the cut scene graphics are rather amazing) and my guy is about Power 50 at the mo. So too low to join in the fun yet :(. But I'll try hammering it this week when I can do to level myself up a bit.

I've got a second character that's about the same, drop me a message when your on if you want some company for the campaign- can level up quite quickly

Interestingly, even if you aren’t Level 20 by the end of the campaign. You are bumped to 20 at the conclusion.

 

Anyone around from 9 for the Nightfall?

Raid is a 6 man mission that can last hours if you don't know the mechanics (I'm currently in a raid which has taken 12-15 hours) or one evening if you do. You get check points so can come back the next evenings. It's the best gaming experience I've had completing the raids on destiny one. 

 

Strikes are 3 man missions with a boss at the end and you'll get random loot. It's similar to a story mission but you generally need 3 to do it.

 

Crucible is PVP, 4v4.
