I'm not convinced the GameBoy library is good enough for a compilation thing, really.

The Atari 2600 library certainly isn't and yet we've had about 30 compilations for that...

I'm sick of having the Game Boy's library maligned

1st party:

Tetris

Donkey Kong '94

Kid Icarus

Super Mario Land

Super Mario Land 2

Pokemon Red/Blue

Warioland

Warioland 2

Dr. Mario

Mario & Yoshi

Baseball

Golf

Tennis

Alleyway

Zelda: Link's Awakening

Game & Watch Gallery 1

Game & Watch Gallery 2

Metroid 2

Kirby's Dream Land 1 and 2

Mario Picross

Balloon Kid

Kirby's Pinball Land

3rd party:

Mega Man 5

Gargoyle's Quest

Final Fantasy Legend 1 and 2

Final Fantasy Adventure

Pinball: Revenge of the Gator

Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge

That's 30 good-to-great, or at least memorable, original Game Boy titles, and that's excluding Rare titles (e.g. Donkey Kong Land, RC Pro AM), ports and licensed titles that they probably can't get.

Hmm... Intriguing. If they do release an N64 mini, that's a good list there. It's not surprising to see Diddy Kong Racing or Banjo Kazooie missing, but it's odd that Smash Bros and Pilotwings 64 are not there. Pilotwings wasn't on the SNES mini either, right? Could it be a technology/copyright issue?

Looks likely Nintendo may have just leaked the n64 classic themselves (19 games). But also think they could release a gameboy mini along side it - https://www.nintendo.co.uk/Support/Nintendo-64/Nintendo-64-manual-and-additional-documents/Nintendo-64-games-manuals/Nintendo-64-games-manuals-990819.html

They're just the Wii/Wii U VC game manuals and have been there ages.
