Aztarac : lost colour vector arcade machine found and restored

and then https://arcadeblogger.com/2017/12/08/tim-strykers-aztarac-the-final-chapter/

If clicking on the link feels like too much hard work, the abridged version is thus:

-A Florida collector by chance purchases a super-rare arcade machine released in 1983 called Aztarac – one of only 200 ever built

-That very same machine turns out to have been owned personally by the creator of the game; none other than the late Tim Stryker

And here's the machine restored

Tony Temple writes some fantastic blogs, the two part story of the restoration of Aztarac included. It's an important restoration and stands as a fitting and moving tribute to Tim Stryker and his family who attended the unveiling of the restored game. Well worth a read.

Agreed. I was reading his blog the other day and was enjoying the local arcade raid two friends went on.
