Sonic Generations is okay, but not amazing. Haven't played the Boom titles but I've heard the second one, Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice, is passable. Avoid Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal.

 

A lot more goodness on the DS side of things. There's a collection of Sonic 1-3k, Sonic Rush, Rush Adventure and Colors are all recommendable. There's even a bioware Sonic RPG that's not awful, all things considered.
