Blaster master zero 1 and 2 both reduced. Graphics look lovely. How do they play?

Not played either myself but saw there is a demo on the eShop for the first one of the games and have it queued up to download when I'm home.

Could check it out to see if you like it :)

Not played the second yet but the first is a lovely Metroidvania.

Sweet, just won 999 gold points on Tetris 99 and already spent them. Cheers for the recommendations. Got Gato Roboto and Friends of Ringo Ishikawa

Sigh, I never do.

Any votes for Gear Club Unlimited? It’s massively reduced and it looks lovely but the demo video makes it look a bit car porn and I’m more at the Virtua Racing end of the market.

But 80% off is hard to argue with!

Oh man, many an hour spent on the free 360 version.

Please tell me it has the exact same cheap flute music.

Gone for Deal of the Day on Puyo Puyo Tetris at £10.49 so I can sell on the cart version and pleased to see 30% off Chime Sharp as I was a big fan of the original, less so this sequel. But happy to have it on the handheld.

The Banner Saga 1 and 2 are down to £4.49 each. Remarkable story and art style, with a highly addictive isometric turn-based battle game, interspersed with Telltale style conversation/decision mechanics. Can’t recommend them enough.

multiplayer co-op game Heave Ho which got some love in here is down to £6.29 (I'll give it a go at that) and noticed Star Wars pinball is also down to £18.

I've really got into Pinball FX3 recently hoovering up tables (their non licensed tables are all on sale at the moment), its perfect for a bit of mindless play when I don't want to concentrate too much, and is such a well put together package.

Went for Son Of A Witch as it's got great Steam reviews and my family can't get enough of 4 player co-op games. It was only £4.

Not A Hero is fantastic, kind of passed me by and isn't a pixel run and gun platformer that it looks on first glance, razor sharp controls and you need to think and plan a little before steaming into a room.

Not sure, it was the first deal that came up when I started browsing the sale, so possibly under 'Current Offers'?

Link’s Awakening is reduced isn’t it?

Cool I didn't check the list but someone said no big hitters so I assumed not.

if it is, it didn't show in the website search as a Nintendo title on discount, but I guess that could just be their website being crap.

Played the shit out of PPT on the Vita when it was Japan-only. I should probably get the English language version.

I'm playing Bury Me, My Love at the minute on the Switch because it was a free download. The game itself seems pretty great - it's about a woman trying to get across the Syrian border and the whole game is played out between text messages from her to you. But Jesus, the performance on the Switch version is atrocious. In about 30 minutes play, I've had 3 crashes back to the dash. Looking online it seems to have loads of problems. A shame, because I've really enjoyed what I've played so far.

Bury Me My Love works better as a phone game, it relies on the 4th wall of the platform.

As for Katana Zero and The Messenger, they're more different than they appear. Katana Zero is basically side scrolling Hotline Miami, while The Messenger is heavily influenced by NES Ninja Gaiden initially but overall has a lot more to it and feels more inventive. Both are very cool though I prefer The Messenger, love that game.
