I have a game on my wishlist which is showing this:

But I don't remember what game it was. Is there a website that shows games that get removed from the eShop?

Is it Advance Wars? That’s no longer showing on my wish list.

Have they cancelled that altogether? Ffs

It’s still on the eShop. I assume they deleted and re added it so the original one is a broken link.

The House of the Dead remake is due Thursday next week. I do want it to be good, but just don’t see how the gyros in the joy cons are going to be up to the task after experiencing Skyward Sword’s functional but oft-wandering pointer controls. Re-centring the reticule every few minutes in that game wasn't a problem, but for a light gun game it’ll be awful.

Still, I eagerly await the reviews. I can still feel the butthurt from the woeful Saturn home release, and the original is still my favourite.

Any word on this House of the Dead remake then?

I quite enjoyed the Panzer Dragoon remake once I waited for it to be in the sale.

Was interested in it. Then I saw the reviews. Sounds like the controls are a bit fucked and the ever dreaded Switch "performance issues". I'm going to pass.

Pre warning for anyone wanting Chinatown Detective Agency.

It's really good so far, but it only saves at the end of a case it seems. At least initially. I got caught out and had to redo the first half of the first case all over again.

It's dumb and shouldn't be a thing in 2022.

How long are the cases?

Controls are apparently extremely ropey due, largely in part, to joy-con limitations in comparison to an accurately tracked sensor bar Wiimote.

Rest assured that it’ll be around a fiver within two months.

Does eShop credit expire once redeemed and added to your account?

US and JP credit does as mine has. At least a year before it does, probably 2 or 3 years.

Thanks. The local equivalent to GAME is currently doing a trade in offer where if you trade in a game from a very long list you can get a €25 eShop voucher in exchange. The thing is they have a load of mediocre stuff in said list (I traded in Balan Wonderworld on the PS4 for example) so am tempted to take full advantage - but don’t want said credit to suddenly disappear.
