What does this mean for his Pac-Man records?

That is an interesting one because he was supposed to be the first person to play a perfect game of pac-man. If he's shown himself to be untrustworthy does that mean accolades like that go to the second person regardless of whether Mitchell did legitimately get those records first?

Not unless there's proof of something dodgy going on at the time.  Does bring them into question though and everything will closely looked at.

Steve Wiebe could potentially sue Billy for lost earnings.   He could have been basking the the glory of being the DK champ for years and going to events etc.

and selling hot sauce at said events?

It is important to note for full disclosure that we were initially sent a different google drive link that contained a continuously editable version of the document, and we noticed that it had changed since the first time we looked at it, so for the purposes of this dispute thread we have captured what was presented to us and placed it in a non-editable PDF google drive location to preserve what has been presented.

The original google drive link that was provided to us by Mr. Mitchell's representation can be found here:

(We can make no representation that the content at the above link will not change, nor can we represent that this link will remain active and available.)

Very professional!

Billy Mitchell has successfully appealed to have all of his records re-instated.

I'm not surprised that the Pac-man score was reinstated, that score was never in doubt.

Edit: he no longer holds the world record for Donkey Kong but is still recognised as the first player to reach the kill screen and the first to top a million points.

Complete bollocks though isn't it, they think you couldn't hide an emulator in an arcade machine because there wouldn't be room.  Not that this was the method but fucking hell people.

It smacks of sheer ignorance on the part of Guinness. I know Billy is a smooth talker, but wow.

If anyone has every watched On Cinema at the Cinema I feel Billy Mitchell, and the Ref Guy are literally Tim and Greg in this.

Corrupt as fuck.

Next thing he'll organise a festival where his self promoted hot sauce will accidentally kill several teenagers.
